They'll only be ...... short term.... when they get 'em in their hands, they'll surely appreciate the effort.

Nach when you say "get em in their hands" I assume you mean like this?

Shockwave power, ELA wait times are for Rookies....lol

The end result is worth the wait.............

All of you calm people, appreciate bringing calm sanity to this thread.

Let's not give David any more stress over what he's giving himself. This is his brainchild and baby. Consider this scenario: Would you pester a pregnant mother that she's taking too long to [explicative for dramatic effect ;) ] grow a child?

And if we're tired of waiting, let's spend our time doing something constructive. Maybe ordering that spiffy Precise Simplicity 14500? :)

Hey OnTheFidele, just noticed your lineup in your sig, and our set ups are very similar. Seems both my Sabers have gone to family, and my Natural is my sons now. I just ordered another Natural so I can have a back up. Its a very nice device , a good basic workhorse and still gets more looks when I have it out and about.

I was at Local vape the other day, my son and I were in the area and passed it up. I convinced him to let me stop and look, knew I should have. Left there with 3 new drip tips and 60.00 dollars less of photo job I did for family member.

Needless to say the guys in the shop saw ELA and had quite a few ooohs and ahhhs. That crowd is REALLY into the asian imports.
But there were a couple that knew about the Super-Ts and thought ELA was amazing.

Yep, anavidfan, I agree that our setups are very much in line. I believe form follows function, and some people just have a knack of always finding that one follows the other ;)

I've also found that the Local Vape crowd loves their Asian imports, Provari's, and well designed e-juice labels. I honestly have to say that I'm surprised that they knew about the Super-Ts. The last time I stopped by, the crew seemed unaware of my Natural, let alone recognize my reference to the ELA. Haven't been there in a couple of months, however. Your post makes me hope that they may become Super-T distributors, if David deigns to acknowledge them as thus. I can only hope that people will adopt this form-function mindset (as opposed to mere popularity and hype) and make David a rich man! :D

Update: Where i sit now, my goal was to have first batch shipped by weeks end, but that isn't going to happen. Just spent an hour on ONE unit assembling it. First the telescoping tube was catching, then i got that fixed and then it would fire when standing up, so repalce the main tube, then the cap, then the accent ring, then the switch...grr. I know you may dislike me for this, but these don't go together like a normal mod, each one takes mega time to fit, finish and assemble. It's just the way it is. I'm going to have to push it back a week on my first batch completion estimate.

since no one else said it...i will:

i'm TOTALLY disappointed with this! Sheez David...please stop making sure each of our 160+ dollar mods function perfectly and start cranking out high volumes of sub-par quality ASAP! see: Chinese mods if you need tips on how to produce high QTY of low quality. thanks!

Hahaha . . . I've had a change of heart, now. I completely agree with d3mon.

Just so that we don't throw you off of your Perfectionist .... Rhythm, you may start the mayhem anytime after #15890. Hmm . . . I hope that I have left myself enough of a cushion.

The package containing the ELA and Shockwave #63 arrived with a 60$ bill (TBH I expected as much as three times that so I was relieved) after being held by customs for 14 days . Those 14 days were infinitely more frustrating than the whole year it took to get the Shockwave - black thoughts kept popping up (did they return the shipment?...did they seize it and destroy it believing it is some kind of a terrorist device?...did it get lost?...is there a vaping person at customs who recognized the awesomeness of the package and decided to unintentionally displace it?...etc.). Super-T even put in a blued velocity drip tip and an 18350 battery. Thank you David and thanks to all the unnamed and indispensable members of the Super-T team who made this possible! :toast:

Pictures soon. Blown away by both. The only negative I have found until now is the fact that my Kayfun doesn't thread very far on the Shockwave. It threads perfectly on the ELA though. It's currently the only atty I have so I don't know if it's the Kayfun or the Shockwave. Really wishing it were the Kayfun because if it is the Shockwave, I have no way of modding it and, even if I had, I wouldn't dare to.

after using RSSTs for a bit...and attempting to make sure that i tilt it correctly with the air hole to the bottom...i find myself looking forward to the one thing about the ELA i was worried about. the bottom button. with a side firing, holding the mod properly can be a bit awkward...i see the bottom button as a solution to this :D

Instead of ranting - I will just ask.
Is the new Simplicity having ANY effect at ALL on production of the ELA? You have our money for the ELA......

Absolutely not. We have enough ELA parts machined well ahead of my ability to assemble them. I'm the weak link in the ELA. I'm the last stop on them. Not so with the Simplicity. Those come off the machine ready to assemble and my trained staff is able to assemble them (they are, after all, a "Simplicity").

Heres what i posted earlier:

"Just a quick Note:

The Precise Simplicity 14500 will not hold up or effect the ship dates of your Precise ELA. The Precise Simplicity 14500 is an "off the machine" ready to assemble device and requires no prep work by me and is assembled by our team of trained staff. I'm still working full steam ahead on your ELA's as those require extensive fitting and finishing personally by me to complete".

Good to hear they have landed Mindtroverted! Can you put a dab of noalox on the Kayfun threads and work it back and forth on?

I know the feeling, i have zero info when i trace it, still getting "electronic notification" listed since the 28th so i have no idea where my ELA is, frustrating!

Not only that, once you have your atty attached, you can just rotate it however you like before you lock down the tube and put that airhole wherever you like!
