See, what is so great about David and Super-T is that even if you wrote a post that was a hundred times more insulting and if the biggest a$@-kisser wrote a post that was infinitely more a$@-kissy, you would both wait an equal period of time for your ELA and both of your ELAs would be equally perfect.
David did make an estimate. That estimate didn't come true. Not even close. However, if you get to know the way David and his team work, you will know that the cause of deliveries running late is their striving for perfection and flawless QC in 97% of cases. If that pisses you off, stop looking at the dates and either order and forget, or switch to the instant availability of cheap chinese copies. They will definitely deliver as fast as they can.
When you actually have your ELA in hand,....you will forget the wait time once you see the build quality and finish of your new MOD.
have a feeling ill be holding my kayfuns up to the pc monitor to compare them to pics of the ela to see which finish i keep. LOL I guess it just depends on which brushed finish we get. I think the brushed one vcoupe is talking about is the gamma which has a coating and would prob be darker. Then there is the epsilon brush which is a natural brushed SS. I think the epsilon would be the best match followed by the delta (high polish). The epsilon is the newer finish so im not sure how many people even have this finish. But then again, im just piecing together info, vapin's post (Cloud9vaping) helped me with my theory.

I have the gamma, and color wise, it doesn't match a single mod that I own. It looks best on my brushed poldiac so far.
I still predict that the unnamed brushed kayfuns sold by vaperev a couple days ago will arrive as epsilons, not gammas. There are subtle clues hinting at this, but I won't bore you with details. Well, in any case, estimated delivery is Tuesday, and que sera, sera.

I think I'm jumping on this next week. Does anyone know the current wait times on the ELA? And will it accept a synthesis or foggy 22? My back up is a fecta, but who knows when those will be available and if i'll be at my computer for those five minutes.

we dont know the exact wait time, purchase one and forget about it. You will drive yourself crazy wondering when it will come. Then one day go to mail box and it will be there in all its precise glory!!

He's got a business to run, and now he's making sure that SuperT's QC is up to its excellent standard by fitting each unit personally.
Good grief if it wasn't for his high standards, we either wouldn't be on the preorder list or we would be crying about how lousy it was not to mention sending them back for QC issues.

Is it out of the question to do a dual coil on the Kayfun?
Dang i just got a triple post dripper and WOW double WOW... 2 x 1.0 Ohm coils makes a .5 Ohm vape (silica)... I wouldn't have believed it but NEVER a better vape.... full, warm, flavorful, clean.... its like instant gratification just went to a new level... LOL.

Aint no one kissing a$@ here.... You obviously havent ordered high end products before........things take time and then there are delays for whatever reasons...
Years ago when I had my FFL, I was building my gun collection and had ordered a custom McMillan rifle with Scope for $4200.00, I was told it would take around 3-4 months to complete..needless to say after numerous phone calls it finally showed up, 11 months later....Im no sharpshooter but could still put 3 shots in a 1/2 inch group @ 100 yards, the finished product was worth the extra wait... Thats what its all about when your order from a small manufacture that has a high demand...You want their product, then there is no whining
in line as we are all in the same boat. It is what it is!!

It is a mod for goodness sake, I was grouchy this morning, tired didn't want to be awake wanted to be all snuggly in my bed. Went to church this morning and it was a great service, you know always when I have the hardest time getting my tail end up, they have the best services.
To finish my thought, it is a mod, it isn't some major life changing event, I know David strives to make it just right. I am okay over here, saddened but I am sure that will change once my baby gets to me.

Search youtube for kayfun dual coil. There are a few how-tos there.

dual coil on the Kayfun is possible. I have a set up at .6 ohms and its the only way I like it. anything lower I think doesn't wick well . it just burns up too quick and you get dry hits most of the time.

Regarding the ELA. Estimate is still for first batch to be all shipped by weeks end. (thru order 15288).
Regarding the Simplicity holding up ship times on the ELA: it is not in anyway holding up shipment of your ELA's. Several reasons:
1. The Simplicity, like the Vapemate, T-Tips and Kiklet is a minimal to no prep unit. I do not assemble the Simplicity. Super T consists of several team members other than myself more then capable of assembling this "Simple" unit.
2. I have enough ELA parts made up to assemble approximately 400 units. Machine time on the Simplicity did not, has not and will not effect the ELA ship times or production times.
3. I am the only final assembler on the ELA. Each and everyone gets the final finishing, fitting and testing by me personally. My other employess do not do the final assembly, they only do preassembly work (which consists mainly of polishing tubes, caps etc). I am the bottleneck, not the other products we carry or the other employees.
