Oh snap, yours was only an 8 day wait before movement showed.I am on day 10 today, back to the drawing board i guess?

Wow, day 10, I really feel for you. By day 8 after I recieved my shipping notice, if I had any hair I would have pulled it all out.

With that being said, you will most likely see movement today or tomorrow; of course I don't know how many boxes David has on his bench but you should see movement soon.

As far as buying devices to top your ELA: if you can buy a kayfun 3.1 ES and be done with it until David made his own RBA. I'm seriously thinking of selling all of my gennies after getting the kayfun. My DID is hardly used and while I really love it, the kayfun blows it away in flavor, ease of setup and capacity. That plus it doesn't leak when left on it's side (I know some genesis users can build them not to leak but I haven't got so far yet. I'm just happy I can get them to work well at this point.)

My girlfriend was poking fun at me for believing the hype surrounding the Kayfun and how much it enhances the flavor of juice saying "I don't beleive that thing can do what these people say it does." When I got it set up and let her take a rip all she could say was "that tastes so strong I guess everyone was right." The Kayfun is every bit as good as you have heard!

Speaking of the pre-order,i wonder how many pre-orders are left before someone gets,.......wait for it,SHOCKWAVED?

I got Shockwaved before I started vaping which was Last July. This saddens me as the Shockwave is now my unicorn and I fear I will never catch it. I'm not to sad since I have my ELA.

dang nice pics.. hows the performance?

Performs well. My 2 big gripes are the fact that it's so heavy and has a tapered design bottom so it becomes a heavy table/ surface wrecker if it falls, and the locking ring over time starts to lose grip so you need to really crank it down and mark up your inner ring which I've had to sand out twice.

damn.... does it crush the texture of the inner tube?

Over time?? It's only been a month or two.

Don't know what you've been doing but I'm fairly certain my locking ring hasn't lost its grip or loosened it at all.

Lol, what ? True that during the long run that might be possibility, V, but during the short period that we had it, it's a impossibility. The only reason that I could think of you over tightening it is due to the fact that your batteries are not being properly positioned in the center of the bottom o-ring. If they aren't , it will create rattling inside the telescopic tube and one might instinctively tighten the tube more to stop the rattling.

I apologize, but again, that's the only single reason I can see for one to over tighten their telescopic connection.

That's interesting, my locking ring has been rock solid and has made no marks on my extension tube. Of course I've only had mine for a week but I don't see it changing without some abuse on my part.

No no, it's not me :). It's minor, it is that the inner clamp inside (that tightens with pressure) can un seat itself. Sometimes I have to nudge it back. The markings on the tele tube are inevitable if you are clamping something on it, it's just common sense, but a small niggle nonetheless. I have the same issue with my roller having lines over time from the threads.

The real fatal flaw to -me- is the tapered design, I use gennys so it's not ideal. I've also scratched my damn table taking pics of the ELA where it dropped lol. ELA 1 table 0

fyi... I've taken apart, examined, re finished, etc etc this thing more than anyone Im sure aside from David and crew so I'm pretty familiar with the device.

If you get Satin rings, I'll trade you for my unused set of polished ones.

Sweet thanks for the quick and numerous replies everyone. Hoping an extra set of polshed rings come through. Now time to meditate and wait.....ohhhhhhhmmmmm... Preferably at around 0.9-1.1 hehe!

Vcoupe, I've got three genesis atties on Super T mods, all of which I lay on their side. And while I'll always have a paper towel underneath to catch condensation, all my juice stays in their tanks. Perhaps there are a few tweaks I can share so you don't have this problem and can lay them down without worry.

I think the only way to settle this is the old fashioned way. A gentlemanly duel. Weapon of choice: ELA in 18650 mode with your preferred atomizer of choice.

Here's mine - ELA 18650 mode Kayfun 3.1 ES in 15ml mode - who wants some?

IMG_20130617_164838_029.jpg

I know I'm not part of this duel but I had to show off this ridiculous setup.

Edit: I'm 6'5", my hands are not small by any means and this setup is almost a foot long - I would not want someone coming at me with it. I've mostly been vaping Boba's in the Kayfun but I'm afraid to put 15ml in there and have the coil gunk up before I finish the tank and waste any of this precious juice. Maybe some day I'll get brave enough to do it with something clear and fruity.

Honestly, I hope the genesis saga is over soon. I think we're on the way there with some of the new silica atties that are coming out lately.

It seems like a huge step backward that everyone is purposely using an atomizer that leaks as a part of it's design. Not only that, most new high end atomizers are, in fact, genesis atomizers that leak by design. There hasn't been a whole lot of innovation in that area. I'm a non-frequent-poster and frequent-idler in two different modder forums (this one, and the GP one), and every time someone says, "oh please won't you make yet another genesis atomizer to match our awesome mod" I cringe. Why?

I understand why people use them, but I really wish people would stop putting their efforts into making new ones and instead innovate somewhere else. There are plenty of them out there already, all with the same basic function and same huge (in my opinion) flaws.

Ok Ok, my rant is over. I'm not even sure why I ranted it here other than there was genny talk going on. Carry on folks :)
