ME TOO!!!! Got married in Lakewood February of '89.... There was SNOW that weekend...lol

HEY!!!! Dont pick on us....lol....I would have gone Marines, but I got pissy with them after the recruiter accused me of cheating on my ASVAB's because "girls don't score 97 percentile without cheating"...and my family has long Army tradition, AND they guaranteed my job choice.

I'd say "unbelievable" but it's all too believable, so I'll say unconscionable. Because of that caveman, they lost out on a great Marine.

Scored a 99 and was chased mercilessly by an Army recruiter. Told me I was too fat to join any other branch. I told him where to stick his opinions and didn't join.

Lol....atta girl!!! I adored my recruiter, he was amazing.

I couldn't have put it better!!! I'm in awe of the whole process, and so excited I won ANYTHING... And have made some friends here I know will be friends for a long time. I'm not a religious person, so saying I've been blessed might get me struck by lightning, but I do believe in good karma, and I've had a lot passed my way the past few weeks.

The friends and the chit chat between many of us has been the best part of the contest!!!

It is my thoughts that one doesn't have to be religious to be spiritual in nature. Blessings IMO can come from anything you believe in. I think we carry our own energy that may or may not be connected to higher power. Good karma and just plain ole good people doing for others is reason enough to consider yourself blessed and to celebrate life. See, right there? That banana is doing the blessing dance.

Ugh....I was a jr in high school when I took my first ASVABs.... After the initial rejections because I was 16, and apparently a cheater, I took again as a 17 y/o senior and lucked out...I went up 2 points, and met my recruiter

I agree...have one ultra conservative friend who screams at me if I say "blessing"... Lol...she tells me it's blasphemous because blessings are a gift from God. I say it's anything good you don't expect, but appreciate.

Just got email from Robert at Halo with UPS tracking number....can you tell I'm excited???? If their juices are 1/2 as good as their customer service...lol....I'll be hooked! 4.4 lbs on its way, set to be delivered on Monday!

Lol...my brother was USMC, I was Army, my dad was Army Air Corps, one uncle was Army (stationed at Ft Lewis, lol), and had a boyfriend in the Navy. I'm an equal opportunity offender...I tease them all!
