I prefer hanging out here where everyone gets along...lol...FB has just become a mixed bag of frustration and ugliness for me lately. I sign in and basically just watch my messages now. I've made a few very close friends that I trust, and we have agroup message that's been going for over a year. We have nursed each other thru divorces, break ups, and the adoptions and deaths of our beloved 4 pawed friends. Otherwise, I think I'm pretty much done with the rest of the nonsense...here is peaceful, and happy, and Zen-like. vape in, vape out....lather, rinse, repeat.

It may be that ECF becomes a very necessary underground sharing place for things we need, if we can't buy online (like cigarettes when they went south, being sold online, then the Post Office joined ranks and you couldn't mail cigs anymore)... good reason to stay up on what's happening where, I think!

My older sis & hubby live on the south side of Cougar Mtn, between Issaquah and Renton - gorgeous views of the mtn when it's out to the south! Mom, at 97 is still residing in her own home on the Island, at the end of the street where the ferry used to land, connecting us to Seattle in the long ago days (grin). my reign on MI? 1944-1963, dad built a lot of the custom homes back then.

I usually just remove anyone from my Facebook that spreads negativity or drama. I don't need it nor do I want to see it. Some of those include people I see in person often enough to know they aren't so negative in person and just like that online. Usually the people that post negative things won't even notice you aren't on their friends list anymore, and it clears it up to see all the fun pictures and positive posts.

Heh... I guess there was some wisdom in just forgetting about the contest and this thread; when I checked email this morning, I was absolutely FLABBERGASTED to see the PM notification -- total surprise, out of the blue. :D

The finger's been well enough to do dishes since probably Friday... but the blister turned into some tough kind of skin, guess eventually it'll just flake off.

But reiterating what might very well have been my winning post, since it was the last one I made in that contest... THANKS FOR SAVING ME, ECF!!!!! AND ALL YOU LOVELY PEOPLE TOO!!!!!!

Yup! The ppl who need to contact me for specific things can find me if they need to....I'll continue to help with rescue that way, but the drama queens and the nasty ones are being deleted one at a time. I'm too old for that nonsense....lol

Ah yes, I tried those cigalikes for a while and it never worked for me. They were always super harsh. I have one friend that says he is ready to make the switch and really wants a setup similar to my iStick 30w and Atlantis since he tried it. Oddly enough, he started vaping before I did and went with me to our local B&M to get my first one. He had a lot of trouble with all the setups he got before and kept going back to analogs. He also has a hard time tasting the flavors in vapes and wants one with a really powerful flavor. I sent him links on where to buy the setup I have a few weeks ago, but he hasn't purchased it yet. Hopefully soon.

I think any new vaper will notice that they don't taste things like the experienced vapers do - their tasters just aren't cleaned out yet from the cigarettes! it'll come, be patient, you'll find what works, eventually, and we'll all help ya along in whatever way we can... but as a newbie you don't have funds, batteries, tanks, local stores, etc. we know all about that, thus we share as we can! ((((hugs to the newbies!))))) it becomes addictive for us! this sharing, the more we do, the more I've won this week in gifts!, not at all what I have been expecting to happen - but totally enjoying it all as it comes along....

I tried a mark10 cigalike for 1 day, then I knew if I was going to vape I had to make some changes, right now I have a MVP 20watt and a kanger t3s which is doing quite well for me now, but the cigalikes are kind of a joke

Got a question - are most cigalikes made or distributed by the guys who actually produce cigarettes? thus, they don't want them to work well, as I see it.

I've done 2 widely-separated things for rescues... about 15 yrs ago some ADORABLE german shepherd pups found their way to my door, whining and crying and clearly starving... which made me cry, so furious that someone would just abandon such gorgeous little creatures, so I gave the 3 of them a giant can of Dinty Moore beef stew and called Animal Control. As cute as those pups were, VERY CLEARLY shepherds, I'm quite sure they were all adopted ASAP.

Then, in the summer of 2011, we kept hearing this very faint, almost inaudible mewing... went hunting around the carport, and discovered a tiny, bedraggled, and absolutely emaciated tuxedo kitten, so weak with hunger it could barely make a sound. Our son melted immediately and tossed out some ham scraps, to which I responded, "oh great, now it'll never leave!" :D And I was right, it never did. Faced with my son's begging, pleading, puppydog eyes... I gave in, to keeping the kitten, which of course I immediately named "Tux" -- my husband discovered right away that the kitten was actually female, so she became "Tuxie"... and has become a 4 yr old and VERY well-fed part of our family (thank you, Zyrtec!). The next spring of course we had to deal with all the yowling as she went into her first heat, had to keep her inside which she HATED, and found a local place called "Planned Pethood" which spayed her and gave her 3 or 4 immunizations, all for about $30.

Awww....great job! I usually end up doing transports (since I'm unemployed and at home) or short term fosters. I see 3 of them on a regular basis at our Sunday Siberian playmates, and another 3 were all adopted by friends I know. I used to be on a Board of Directors for a local rescue, but when it started becoming about themselves and not the dogs, I had to leave. Plus, one of them consistently referred to my beloved Max as fat, ugly and horribly behaved. I won't tolerate someone saying that about my woolie woobie and constant companion!!!

GLAD you did, Andria, the rest of us are enjoying the last 30 folks' joy, you included! and cementing our new relationships along the way. What a special time this whole 15 mil posting celebration has been!! It's fun to see the vendors who are really dishing out the goodies too! If you read ahead a bit, Andria, you'll see where Vaping Zone has given 5 30ml bottles of their juice to the top 20 winners (so far) and all those gifts have been snatched up quickly by 20 blessed folks... rumors have it that there may be more similar to that? we'll just have to wait and see, I think. ((((Andria))))

Oh wow I got picked!!! Thank you ecf!!!
It seems you are going to get the very last prize.
That's a distinction in itself.

I wonder what you will wind up with.
I'll bet it doesn't suck.
:)

Well none of the prizes I marked as desirable were ejuice, because of my problem with VG -- so if I won any ejuice at all, I'll be PIFing it -- no reason someone else couldn't enjoy something really tasty. I'm really jealous of all y'all that can vape the good stuff from nicoticket and HHV, but my lungs demand I stick to 84% PG or thereabouts. I'm just happy they'll let me vape anything, after all those years of smoking, plus the asthma!

What a happy surprise; I totally stopped even thinking of it, and then blam, there it is. :D Kinda like buying a lottery card and forgetting about it, then finding out a couple wks later it's actually a winner!

Lol...we balanced each oher off, then, because I DID pick a lot of the juices and saved the big stuff I would have no idea what to do with for those who could benefit from it. I had kinda given up, too and was just having fun watching everyone else win...

Yep, that's Max, my genetically wrong in every way Siberian Husky..my last rescue!

I think he's amazing. I bet he's a joy to be around -- and I bet he'd tear anyone a new one that tried to do anything to you!

We'll be getting a dog eventually, but we want to wait till we can fence in the back yard; we both hate the very thought of putting a dog on a chain, but also don't necessarily wanna go walkies everytime the dog needs to tinkle! Also we're still arguing, dachshund (my choice) or corgie? (his choice). :D I had a long-haired dachshund when I was a kid, and I'd really love to have another; maybe a black one this time, to match our [mostly] black cat!

Worlds worst watchdogs...lol...if anyone broke in, they'd be begging for cookies! His size is a little intimidating, he's over 90 lbs, which is large even for a woolie. He is a little more protective of me since I've started working him to eventually become my service dog, but he's such a happy boy and he loves everyone, even the little girl next door who screams "lion" every time she sees him.
