Problem with 18650 on GGTSV2

Sorry to go slightly off topic, but has anyone tried a LR 901 with a 18650 on a AVS or AM (AFSv2)?

Yes, Clyde. It's my permanent everyday configuration since I got AVS to my older GGTS.
901LR + AW ICR 18650 2600 mAh = great performance

Same here - an excellent setup on GGTSv2 & AVS.

Don't worry, my first EM-LR lasted 2 months and a week.

My 901LR dived into AVS a week ago, still performing well (and non-stop). 2 days is rather for battery cycle.

I'm using a regular 3.7 non iatty 901 on the Grande at 6v, and it's pretty darned good so far. We'll see if it lasts. If I can get some good HVish action off a LR with a 18650, then that will have to be the way to go.

I strictly use LR901's in my AVS (modded cartos in my AFSv2) and it works to MY taste for sure... I mostly use the not-so-ever talked about AW 18490 HD batteries (MY personal favorite TS config) for a good days worth of vaping...

I do use the AW 18650s HD as well, not only on the GGTS but other mods as well, and they last me approx 2 days.. (my vaping habit is inconsistent though these days.. so I can't say how it would compare to how I vaped months ago )

I haven't used ultrafires for some time but I have UF 18650 2400mah protected batts that DO fit in my TS... I would like to note I have the earlier batch TS BUT replaced the brass tele-shaft with the aluminum one that I believe is the same tele-shaft the current TS'es use so with that in mind I would imagine these will fit in the complete current unit.....

Hehe sorry - yeah, I meant AW IC 18650 2600mAh, gives me 2 days worth of vaping on 901LR with 5-7ml/d liquid usage.

You should definitely try 901 LR, Clyde I was pretty amazed how good the vapour taste is once it breaks. Never found standard 901 to suit me, really.

Yeah, more or lest it is. Nevertheless LR one is closing to penstyle atty very much in terms of the vapour taste. That's something 901 SR @ 5v can't do for me Even when it's 3 ohm (the one I used).

Had the same issue with the Tenergy Blue wrapped 18650 battery ... I'm giving these with a SB to my Brother inlaw soo it wont bother me too much... I hardly vape on 3.7volt anyway
