@RedRobin

Just Me. But I think the Credibility Needle kinda went to Zero with all the Aspire Pico Manual stuff.

Just Say'n.

That was not in the manual l got, l have a wall charger that comes in all new Aspire Pico mods, and it says only use manufacturer charger. I am not going to bicker with you this is the charger it came with and l am not going to muck around with other chargers.

It sounds like they are warning you not to use a different wall charger, what folks call a wall wart. It's just a plug with a USB socket on the back. That's a valid warning because those wall warts can output different power levels. If you use one with the wrong output power level it can cause problems. I believe the problem comes if you use one that puts out too little power, someone correct me if I got it the wrong way round.

That's not the same as taking your battery out of the mod and putting it in an external battery charger though. Those are fine. The manufacturer warning only relates to wall warts.
Finally. The correct answer. :)

This probably isn't a good time for me to say I doubt that a Chinese external charger is any more safe than a mods internal charger ..... or bring up removing the battery and reinserting it many times is probably why I've read of people having to rewrap it and having shorting accidents while doing so ... lol. Following the manufacturers instructions, using the USB wall charger that came with it. Or doing the same with an external charger, a personal choice.
