{IMO} It's unrealistic to expect everyone to enjoy the same product and just like others have the right to create threads praising it, I feel those that don't like it have the same rights. I actually LOVE LOVE LOVE the bashing threads. But they're not as common as they once were. And this guy made the time and effort to start a new thread and keep it going by simply ripping up a product that many people enjoy. Why? I just don't get what is in it for him? Does he work for a competitor? Or is he just a miserable bloke with nothing better to do with his time? I'm always amazed at how some people think they know what is best for me. It's bad enough our politicians do it.
Where you here when the responses to this very question were always "Get a ProVari"....those responding also didn't read what the OP was specifically asking which is a large reason for so much ProVari hate. And to add to that- many of them weren't knobs....noobs....n00bs.True.
That bugs the hell out of me.
I am not a big fan of a couple of products but I would never dream of posting "this sucks, buy ProVape".
Even worse is when someone asks for a recommendation with specific requirements and some knob posts "Cuboid" or "Snow Wolf" without even reading the requirements.![]()
Isn't she always up there?Eri Believes She Belongs on a Pedestal. Beautiful as she is, perhaps she's right!

Sheesh.I hate my Kabukilike seriously. i've nothing but problems all day with it.
i just changed a coil, trying to figure out why it vapes harsh today. with poor flavor... changed the coil and now there is no air flow. like it whistles and crud. loosened the screw till it was projuding out.. still no airflow.
maybe i just need to let is sit for a bit.
it's like getting a frosty from wendy's and trying to drink it from a straw.
totally frustrated.
on the other hand my first day with sophia v2 sucked. but i had the wrong gauge wire.
my wire came in today and i figured out how to tighten the airflow a little bit. and it's a great vape.
just need to get the amount of rayon figured out. i think i have it a little to thick inside the coil. either that or i might go back to cotton. I just have this big box of rayon that i never use!

Sheesh.
I really wish there was more I could do to help you.
I'm not gonna sit here and tell you that you should LOVE the Kabuki...cuz even if it were working flawlessly, there's of course a chance that you wouldn't like it.
That being said, if you even remotely liked your Nautilus, then I'm fairly sure you'd like the Kabuki...as it greatly improves upon the form factor of the original Nautilus tank, and lets the Nautilus coil be used to its full capacity.
Would there be any way you could post pictures of your device? Maybe take the coil out, and lay it next to the base...?
I know I could figure it out if I was right there with you, but the best chance we have over the Internet, is pictures.
Now, I know you've had a disappointing vape day...but I want to assure you that we CAN figure this out...so, do you have the energy to help US help YOU?
P.S. If you go to the ByLeo subforum, there are several Sophia related threads that can help get your build straightened out!

ΣΟΦΙΑ v2 (Sophia V2)
I wasn't here in 2011. I do agree that "Just get a ProVari" wasn't said disrespectfully....it was just shoved down people's neck with a lot of zest & zeal & in many of the threads I was part of that response had nothing to do with what the OP was asking which would then lead to the entire thread getting heated.I disagree with that one. For one thing, I easily developed an unpleasant feeling about some/many Provi posters my first vaping year. (2011 and years before Provarinati was coined). Plus, if you look at some older threads you will see scores of ProVi buyers who "got it" only after buying one as well as several haters who became fans. IMHO Elitist was a correct term for that era and has stuck, more of a joke, I would say.
I traded a Reo mini (which I really disliked) for a ProVi, V1 that first year, expecting to sell it a few days later. Only after owning 2 for a couple of years (amongst other fine and crappy devices), it was the reliability, the durability and the very fine vape that suited my style, that urged me to buy more sisters and bro's for a long term arsenal.
I've seen bad responses to several threads -- people specifically suggesting the one mod the OP did not want to hear about and then a gaggle of friends doing the same. IMHO the "just buy a provari" phrase wasn't used nearly as disrespectfully or as frequently as some have claimed.
In fact, I'd like to see it revitalized as the 2.5 is certainly a great device for many new and/or lower watt vapers and priced for them as well, these days. The hard part is finding someone who doesn't think they need a 50+ watt device and TC when they are happily vaping at 8 watts.
Your experience with the Kabuki mimic mine to a tee!!!!!! Its a little bit better now since I swapped out the coil it came with for the Triton Mini coils. Link to MFS where I purchased my coils from if that'll help you.I hate my Kabukilike seriously. i've nothing but problems all day with it.
