Welp, being the curious type, I looked it up. And if'n you look at the pic that was posted, they're'a standing in front of an ice chest filled with cans of sumpin. I'm'a betting they're Doctor Pepper cans.......
On people unsubbing from this particular thread. I'm sorry to see anyone do so, but respect that they can and they have their reasons. What I won't feel sorry for is starting a discussion about a subject that is controversial, emotional or hurtful to some. When I opened this thread, I let it be known this is a thread where you could discuss things you want to discuss. Yes, it says ProChat, but that didn't mean this was necessarily about Provape gear.
What isn't acceptable is disparaging anyone. And while I don't think anyone has specifically done that, I do think a couple posts could have been seen as such. There are many of you who live in NC. I love and respect you, regardless of what state you live in. And I love you even if you don't agree with my outrage over this legislation. I don't hold you responsible for the actions of your legislators. I'm disappointed in your state, not you. And I suspect the posts on this subject are reflective of just that.
So, leave if you must. But know even if or hopefully WHEN you come back. This thread may discuss subjects that aren't always easy or ones in which you'll agree with the views of your ECF family. As 440BB said, we are much like a family at a holiday dinner. Well, maybe not that bad!!

I want to echo what Rod has said here, and throw in
of my own.If anything I said was taken as a personal attack or character insult, I apologize. That was never my intent.
What I will NOT apologize for, however, is expressing my outrage at unfairly discriminatory legislation that specifically targets a community I am a part of. If that outrage offends others, particularly to the point of leaving rather than participate in the discussion, that's on them. I won't share in any guilt about their departure, and I won't allow myself to be silenced. Being silenced is exactly what those behind oppressive legislation want.
I will not be silent.
I will be loud, I will be obnoxious, I will make myself heard, most particularly by those who least want to hear me. The more they refuse to listen, the louder I will get.
And in the end, I and mine will prevail specifically because we refuse to quietly sit down and shut up and take it, just like those that have gone before us and gotten us to where we are at this moment in history.
This isn't a trivial matter. This is a matter of basic human dignity. This is about the rights of me and every other American citizen to be treated equally and justly.
It's been said before often enough that it's become cliche, but that doesn't make it any less true. If even one of us isn't free, none of us are. When injustice is allowed to take root, spread, and become not just law but the principle of governance, the results are nothing short of disastrous. First it's a "them" group, but what will you do when you find yourself one of "them?"

I like this thread. Sure some topics are a bit foreign to me, and I may not agree with some, but that's all good. I hope perhaps to learn something, have a few laughs, and continue to not smoke. When you get down to it we all most likely have more in common that different. I find the different to be the interesting part.

There is a place within this vaping forum for discussions that veer off indefinitely into territory that is not vendor or vaping related. That place is called THE OUTSIDE.
I don't believe anyone was leaving the thread because of the discussion, I do believe that it was because it was not allowed to drop. It kept getting brought back up.
Those who were part of the discussion had let their feeling be known about how they felt. The ability to agree to disagree, the ability to see the other side and the ability to still remain friends are priceless.
Can we now put this to rest?

As much as this is "BEYOND", it is still a thread focused on vaping in general, and Provape more specifically. I agree that the OUTSIDE is a much wiser choice of locales for topics and discussions that go beyond that focus.
We had rack of lamb, oven roasted potatoes with cheese, served with sour cream & chives, steamed asparagus with lemon butter, & fresh mixed berries with coconut milk.
