THAT'S just it. The FDA regs do make doing profitable business impossible. Based on everything I've read, the FDA wants 1M for each product with no guarantee it'll get approved. Other than BT I can't think of any company that could survive such cost.

And what happens when they pay that 1st 1M & the FDA doesn't approve the product- is the cost reimbursement back to the company who paid it or does the FDA keep it?
That money is for all of the required lab work, chemical analysis, product testing and materials listing, after Aug 8 every single thing ,must be documented and remain exactly the same as the current product on the market, any tiny change of any component will make the product a new product and the whole process would need to be repeated. They even covered software updates, so if a glitch is found to introduce a software update a brand new PMTA would be required. This money doesn't even go to FDA, it's the cost of TRYING to gather the required information for approval, and then there will be the application fees and yearly registration fees on top of all that, IF they decide that the product is good for the health of the general population, not even just the potential customers of the product, and the product must be shown to be not attractive to youth, whatever they decide that vague statement means.

So yeah, it's going to be impossible for any company in our industry to survive this as it stands.

I will be very surprised if that happens.
I too would be quite surprised if they adapt the entire craziness, but buying $100 litres of 100MG NIC and paying only HST tax on store bought juice will be a thing of the past. And that will be predominantly at the provincial level. Health Canada has been suprisingly quiet and I don't expect that to continue long term.

So I left my BM with two 2.5 minis! They wouldn't go the $29.95 blem price but $44.95 wasn't bad and they have colors that can't be found any more! They had a bronze full size for $49.95! Problem is that the shops have colors that are not listed on their online sales!
But I was able to get an Emerald Green and Purple and White hybrid and they gave me extension caps for free!
Up until today they had all the Provaris for $199 and up!

So my new provari arrived today, but I had to go into work and my MIL was supposed to pick it up for me in the office (we take care of her and she doesn't work - she does church stuff). Trying to not be too upset. I waited this long, I can wait another day. Instead of cooking and cleaning for the week on my next day off, I'll be playing with my new toy and DIYing...maybe take my dog and new provari to the river....that sounds nice, right? Happy thoughts!

Congrats on everyone's new toys!

Indeed, George Carlin — 'Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.'

Just tossing this out there..... void for vagueness. I find it an interesting concept, considering ......

Gawd, the holes in my memory are disturbing. I saw that film, but hardly remember anything about it. There was a cool transparent screen he controlled with his fingers and a couple of kids in a floatation tank. Maybe I'm combining two movies I don't remember. Screw it.
