ProVari™ Variable Voltage V2.5 with Digital Display - Satin Silver

...these are back up. They have the extender for $6.00 now. Wasn't that $16.00? (Yes, I just looked. I paid $71.90 for the same combo mid May)
I just grabbed another. Upgraded with the P3 top and extender, was $60 and some change.
That's just an AWESOME deal no matter how you go about it!!!!!

I picked up a mini for the gal I work with who IS NOT stockpiling. She's only ever used ego type throw away batteries.
I'm going to put together a small doomsday box for her, we've worked together for 15 years, we quit smoking and found vaping at the same time, and it will break my heart if I can vape, and she goes back to smoking.
But, she's one that has never had any desire to DIY, or learn how to rebuild. :(
She doesn't get on, or follow any forums, and I think she just doesn't believe it will all come about. Well, I know she doesn't believe it, because that's what she's said.

Maybe you could start a vaping club. There might be more ladies in your area.

That's really kind of you LoriP1702. Better to lend her a hand than tell her "I told you so". I am saddened by how many may go back to smoking after finally finding a way out.
I will be giving a couple of good friends 2.5's, juice and Nautlus tanks as they are both very unhealthy due to smoking.

Makes me sad that both of their doctors recommended Zyban and/or Chantrix to help them quit. I tried both prior to my finding vaping and literally wanted to kill myself. I honestly think continuing smoking is safer than these horrendously evil drugs.

Well, truth be told, I'm not sure she'll accept it.
She's very proud, and stubborn. I have to tread carefully as to not offend her. :(

I've never even thought about that. Interesting thought though. Wonder if those would end up having to be a secretive type club with all the BS with the deeming. :(
Do you have one in your area??

Oh, I agree with you 100%, I'd go back to smoking before I'd use those meds!! In a FLIPPING heartbeat.

I kind of have a somewhat different stance on smoking. After watching both my parents end up in nursing homes, and am still watching my dad fade with Alzheimer's, I can honestly say that it wouldn't break my heart to miss those adult diaper years.
No one wants to die young, or suffer through the end stages of cancer, that's a given.
Living a good long life is great if you're healthy, and active, but the sad truth is not a lot of our seniors are living that good life.
It's just my (negative) opinion, and I know it's a bad one, but I'm just really sour on the whole aging thing after going through all that I have with my parents. I'm jealous of those with better attitudes.

The main thing that keeps me from ever wanting to go back to smoking is all the corruption around it, and the fact that the FDA is basically turning their backs on harm reduction by what their doing...and...then there's the cost...and the stench...

Love this post Lori ... I do similar stuff.

Perfect strangers I see smoking outside my office building ... they show interest when they see me out there with 2 ProVaris ... I then tell them, I'll bring you one tomorrow, you take it home, use it over the weekend and just try to cut back on a few smokes ... bottle of juice, 4 batteries and a little blue screwdriver.

I tell them to Google ProVape and Kayfun ... these setups are proven cigarette killers.

Oh THAT is AWESOME!!!

You'll have to see my above post, we posted at the same time. I'm not sure she'll accept anything I might try to give her. :(
She won't learn how to use a KF. That I know. She uses the Pro Tank minis, so I'm going to try to get her to learn how to do that...I don't know, she might surprise me.

Her thing is truly a "no time" issue. Where we work, her's is an extremely stressful position, she's the controller, and IT person, (overseeing a bunch of goofs that really shouldn't even be allowed internet access  ) on top of that, she commutes an hour each way.
She's 62, I think, and her attitude is basically that she doesn't have time to do any of that, she'll just either quit vaping, or go back to smoking.

Oh, and one of the gals, she's in her late 60's, called me from one of the other offices asking me about the deeming reg situation, and was asking if she going to have to start buying a bunch of stuff, etc.
Again, just like the woman I work with, she doesn't get on any forums, has never done anything remotely more advanced.
So, I was telling her some basic things to get to stock up on, and she interrupted me and said, oh...I've never used any of that, I just get those cigalike things at the gas station.
:blink: Well, I was happy to let her know that while she might have to change brands, she prob will be just fine. (ugh) She was thrilled.

...I really didn't realize that people ever continued to use those things past the first few weeks.

Older people tend to stick with what they know. More times than not, getting them to try something new or different is too much & goes way other their heads.

Chantix is the devil.
