I found it "fiddly" but if you're looking to get superior flavor from a cartotank, it's a good option. And the new one looks better than the old one requiring tucking special wire into a cup...
You can create a pretty slim setup - no cigalike sized, but there's a matching "slim tank," that's roughly ego sized I think...

Do you guys like the Sophia?

I was thinking about sending my Provari 2.5's in to get change to a flat top. Then I thought I can instead use these Vaperfextion tanks with something like a Sophia and when I am lazy I can still use a carto.
Might want to throw a "Wanted" ad out - I'll bet there are some Sophias (v1) around to give one a try... I sold mine a while back.

I still love, love, love the Sophia. It's right up there with the Kabuki, IMO. I haven't tried the V2 version yet. I bought a ton of the nr-r-nr wire and make my own coils which I rarely have to do. I do torch my coils when they get gunked up and change the cotton every few weeks or so and it's all good again. I can't say they are easier to use than a carto but I think the flavor is WAY better.

I use the slim tanks too in my MicroSticks, though those might be relegated to my used equipment box once my MicroSticks break as I'm not getting them fixed. They don't hold very much juice but they are about as slim as an eGo.

I saw the video's on both now. If I go the Sophia route I want the V2 since it is easier to build. I am trying to avoid getting things that I will set unused. If I like the V1 I would probably end up turning around and get a V2.

I would think so. If the V2 is less fiddly than the V1 it would be an improvement.

This wouldn't be my small device solution. This would be for the Provari's. I want to be a two device class person. Provape gear plus tiny hands free gear.

I have been using Ikenvape cartos but availability has been very spotty. I didn't want my old tanks to set and collect dust.

I will still be searching for my tiny device but that is not this mission. :)

I will wait for the emini duo to become available and see if it can fill the small device roll.

I'm trying to watch the V2 video now. Qorax is a bit difficult to understand so I really have to pay attention. Not sure if he mentioned it can be a little difficult to get the ceramic cup into the pin on the V1. I've only broken one cup but sometimes it takes me a couple of tries to get it seated right. But since I rarely take it out, maybe only every 6 months, it's not that painful. I torch my coils while the ceramic cup is still inside the base. It's not recommended to do it this way though. Could cause other issues.

I have a Diver V2 inside an IBTanked in my Calabash (pumpkin) mod. It probably wouldn't work as a hands free device.

Nope, it wouldn't. :)

I am liking this idea, I don't have to send my 2.5's in for surgery. I can keep using my carto tanks. I will have gained versatility with no additional clutter.

V2 does not have a cup. :)

It didn't look hard at all to do a V2 after seeing the video.

Does Leo have a USA dealer or would I have to order one from Europe? If I end up liking it really well I will get one for all my Vaperfextion tanks and I will not lose the ability to use cartos for when I am lazy.

I know everyone out here knows the nightmare of vapegear clutter. I created sooooo much clutter in the past.

Speaking of clutter, I am trying to use something right now until it fails so I can throw it away. It's my last ego device, a little 350mah ego battery with an evod on it. I am going to keep using it until it dies forever. I am having a hard time not reaching for a Provari right now.

Heads up - this might be a typo, but it's what is printed on the website...

Vixen Vapors currently has "scratch & dent" (as in overstock or display items) 2.5 and 2.5 minis on sale for $95.00. Not a good price, but there are a couple of colors no longer available. Anyway, they are having a Cyber Monday sale and on the details page it states:

[On Cyber Monday]
  • “Scratch and Dent” ProVari V2.5 and ProVari Mini V2.5 for only $25! No coupon necessary, while supplies last.
A typo? I don't know. I can't link to the site, but you can look for yourself (click on the Cyber Monday details page on the home page). BTW, they are a fine (albeit sometimes overpriced) vendor I have ordered from for years, they just ran afoul of ECF supplier rules.

No US dealer. Shipping is really quick and Billy is really responsive here and by email.
