It did take me quite a few attempts to get a microcoil at 1.5/1.6 (went over the first few times) and trapping the legs under the screws can be fidgety for me... But once i got the hang of it, fantastic
vape.
Random tips that may be completely unhelpful...
- i found the cotton pads cut into strips were way more reliable than unrolling balls. I think the consistency with the unrolled balls was too hit and miss, and the kfl would start fine but then burp or burn. As soon as i switched to strips of pads... Never had a single burp. (
juice coming out of the airhole, because it wasn't wicking enough i think)
- i always just use the steel for the looks, its pretty easy to tell the first not great tasting hit that its done... Never ever got a dreaded dry hit
- i put the wick
through coil then push up both sides, (rabbit ears method) attach the cylinder part of the chimney, cut off the excess so the cotton is flush with the top of the chimney. Gently pad down the cotton so its to the sides of the coil. Drip on 3 or 4 drops max, fire see vapor attach the rest. I watched tutorials were people juiced the cotton and then layered it to the side then attached the chimney... Found that too messy and hard.
Using a blunt syringe at 4 or 4.1 mls leaves a little room for the vacum and its really pretty easy to fill that way.
