There has been a lot of talk in here recently about changing out top caps from 2.5s to P3's. And nothing wrong with that. Having several myself, I never did so because I like to keep the original look of things. Kind of the history of ProVape, v2 through Radius. Am I the only weirdo that thinks like this?

I also paid $10 to convert my P2 top cap to a P3 top cap. I surmised this is not the "normal" price. The reason I got it for $10 was because my P2 was in for a new board and had to be taken apart anyway. Adding the P3 top cap required no extra labor. I suspect having the top cap replaced by itself would cost more and I have, in fact, seen higher prices quoted on these threads for doing a cap change alone.

I agree. When I had them do it for the gmz mini I just purchased, they told me it would be more. Then they only charged me $10.

If the Blem is already built, the cost is $23 to change to the P3 connection. If they have Blems that haven't been built, the charge of $10 is the same as as purchasing a new one.

Sounds about right to me. If the thing is in disassembly form anyway (for whatever reason) then you just pay $10.

I too was/am a huge fan of the tapered top. I must admit though, now having a bunch of the flats, I've actually come to prefer it - even with my 19mm tanks.

Not yet, R. But we DID sink for some (gasp) V2 Lite clones, and more than we could ever need. Since we're hoping to NEVER need them, not too sure about the mini. Will let you know though!

I do! But I also like the full size too. I thought I'd want the tapers for the 19's, but learned that the P3 caps work for EVERYTHING (with me).

For me too. I do the GEM with the 21mm ring, not the tapered 21->22mm ring on a P3. No tapered for me, no, Sir.

The Nauti Mini looks good on the tapered, but the flats are OH SO sweet.
