The Ti isn't chopped livah, but yeah - the ZenKotes are SPECIAL.

Yeah, as everyone knows, the Ti is my fave, followed by the GMZ. I just don't trust the coatings on the colors. In fact, if I had to buy more 2.5s and no zenkotes were available, I'd likely go satin or stainless.

I don't know but I've put GMZ #1 through the ringer so far. Not a spec of anything at all.

That is THE reason I got the gold zenkote 2.5 instead of the red, even though I'm not a fan of gold mods.

And the scratching mentioned above would almost have to involve malice a forethought. Nothing but good things to say about the finish with the understanding I have only had the pleasure of owning Gunmetal.

Keep your eyes open, sometimes the reg GMZs pop up in the specials section, that's how I got mine. Or you could get a mini and get an extension cap. I have (and regularly use) both.

Zenkote is about as tough a finish as exists period. I use mine like I stole them, toss them in the cup holder, lay them on their sides wherever, dropped, knocked about. You would have to try hard to scratch them through. I dropped a gold mini on my tile bathroom floor and the drop knocked the board loose...not a mark on the mod.

I saw this: ZenKote™ Colors, but can't recall any but gold and GMZ. @Katdarling, already liking my purchase and I haven't gotten it yet. I love me some zenkote.

Can you imagine if there were such a thing as stealth zenkote? Or a platinum white zenkote?
