I so love my Achilles V2 rda.
Wonder how many here have one?

Ummm....... Andr........ ;)

I wonder if that puts me in any special place in human endeavor?

Yes, you are especially exceptional, unusual, singular, uncommon, notable, noteworthy, remarkable, outstanding, and uniquely special! ;) May have to have you bronzed. :D

:D Marvey!

I don't know what it is with these vape shops. They seem to think everyone will like what they like. How about setting them up with something the customer will like? And most novice vapers do not want cloud machines. I just do not get it. All they have to do is ask a couple questions to gauge the customer's level of experience. If they have little experience then just give them standard stuff...basic tank atty w/1.5 ohm coil and a simple-to-use vv/vw mod. If they want to branch out from there fine. Many who have tried subohm have not liked it and went back to standard coils. Me included. Nothing wrong with trying but geez, it isn't for everyone.

Wow, rinse and REPEAT! Well said, Bronzed.

I'm so lucky to have the vape shop I have. When I first started shopping there, they were all mechanical sub ohm drippers and they sold mostly clones. Today, they only sell authentic gear and from the owner down to the staff, everyone is happily vaping the day away on a Radius or P3 topped with a Kabuki. They of course still cater to sub ohm drippers, but they themselves seem to have moved back to regulated mods.

Bravo to your store, 'Brow. I only wish the Kali peeps would take notes. :(

A bloodless full B&M conversion to the faith would support it i'm thinking...

What?

I'm a very light flavor person as well, most of my recipes(tobacco) have 2-5% flavoring. This blog helped work through some issues when I first started down the DIY path:Hoosier's blog | E-Cigarette Forum :thumb:

I prefer really low flavoring amounts. Usually 1% to 2% total. :w00t:

In total agreement here. Seems to me that with my vapes, the lower percentage of flavor makes for a MUCH better vape, and is so much easier on koils. I'm considering knocking down/diluting some of my EDVs with plain nic base.

Reposting this here too :)

This could not be more true with HHV.

I hate to be the one guy whose comments spoil the party, but HHV was one of the very first places I ordered juices from. Among other flavors, I got Boba's Bounty which was almost universally recommended and evidently has gained some sort of mythological status since the recipe has now changed.

It took months to go through the 15 ml bottles. The juices didn't taste bad - they just didn't taste like much of anything. And then quite a while later when I was thinking about giving them another chance, the word came out that they no longer did genuine NETs, but were using non-extracted flavoring.

It's a true wonderment that any of us find a juice to our liking since there is such an amazing difference from person to person in how their taste buds react.

I'm not disputing any of you who are raving about HHV. It's more a question of jealousy since I wish my palate could taste the same things.

My all time disappointment came from splurging on a bottle of Caste Long Reserve. All I could taste was coconut which I don't particularly like. That experience was partially negated by a recent purchase of Philip Rocke Creme de la Creme. It is worth every penny for that occasional indulgence.

You're mixing something up here.. Boba's Bounty is a Alien Vapor juice, not HHV (Heather's Heavenly Vapes). HHV only sells their own, and among them, very good NETs.

HHV does not make/sell Boba's Bounty. And HHV still makes NETs. You are confusing vendors. You're thinking of Alien Visions. :)

I convinced my mom to buy a gold provari 2.5!
I'm really excited for her. She's been using the cool fire 4's.
One of mine recently died. She has two and one won't fire anything.
we bought these over the summer. thankfully at a good deal.

I'm excited, her 1st provari, and my first p3 arrive today.
thankfully we have facetime so i can help get this old lady set up!

I with you on this issue.

And I'm a 3rd in support of Apple's decision to not give the government the ability to break into iPhones. Tough choice they've had to make. But they have cooperated with NSA to the extent they believe won't take our individual liberties away. I do see both sides however.

I find it hard to believe there isn't a middle ground here. Something that allows the FBI to get the info on that one cell phone while protecting the privacy rights of the general public. We manage when it comes to search warrants. Seems both sides go to extremes and refuse to agree on a middle ground.

Yeah, I think most reasonable minded people can see both sides, rock and a hard place stuff for sure. I should probably have not posted that, I just realized the implications for the future this one brought up.

As the OP, I have no issue with people posting pretty much what they want in this thread. As long as it's respectful of other people and Provape, as this is still their house.

This is an interesting subject. One I've expected would come in the cell world for this very reason. I think your analogy of making a master key that will open every safe ever made by a company is a good one. I have to wonder though, given this goes to national security, if the NSA couldn't be invited into Apple's house to see what's on the device, without having the ability to open it themselves?

Best analogy I read was it's like forcing a safe mfg to make them a master key, that can open every safe they ever made. Once the key is made, it can be replicated ad infinitum.
Let apple keep the key. They can destroy it when they're done unlocking that one cell phone so no one else can abuse it. I'd be for making the apple employee(s) responsible for the key be cleared for a security clearance as well.
