Yes I'm aware of the drop down menu's and I only tried the Mini as that's the only size I was interested in. I just tried all options again and the only one I can add to my cart is the P3 version. I am talking about the Gun Metal mini btw.

I really do not ever like to raise an eyebrow on these threads. But I just pulled a hybrid Mr. Spock and Dr. McCoy having visited the Provape site myself.

What's wrong with it? I was thinking about picking one up but was a little worried about what condition these things are in. Also really curious how they came to have so many of these in blem available. My last check they had 170 of the Mini GMZ's available and ONLY with the P3 connector,no standard cap versions available.
Sorry to hear that. What's making you unhappy with it?

see i have a gmz p3, so upon comparison with the 2.5, it's not nearly as glossy and it feels somewhat tacky.

for instance, rub my thumb along my other provari's no sound, smooth glide is all i have.
rub it along side the gmz 2.5 and you hear squeaking. my mom who also bought one, says hers feels smooth and glossy.

it's like they skipped something. Like it needs to be buffed out good. it could be that the gmz p3 is that much nicer... maybe some one else who owns both can chime in.

NOW don't get me wrong!!! it is still beautiful... it still works, it is just that the finish FEELS different than the p3 version of the gunmetal. Also as far as what is wrong with it, there is red paint on the top portion where the mod is flat.... so underneath any tank you put on top. that does not bother me at all.
some of it has already flaked off.

my purple 2.5 i've thrown in the back of the drawer. the color continues to chip like crazy and it's white underneath. think i will save that one for the beach.

it is just over a MONTH old, and i hate it. wish i had stuck to stainless steel.. instead of chipping paint.

Sounds like you have the perfect ProVari to sand down to the metal while leaving the tear drops with color. I have been threatening to do this but none of mine have paint flaws yet.
But if they did - that's what I would do! I LOVE the look. There are pics around or you could have a look at Zens squareup site to get an idea of how it would look.

i don't understand if mine is the only one that has chipped this bad or not! I'll have to check into sanding it down. right now under the purple is white, so i'm wondering will it be white or can i sand it the metal?

I find that kinda sad.

Afterall, there is no other finish as strong or durable as ZenKote and most likely the custom Radius finishes, which use a similar process. I would guess that the ones Zen took the time to polish were true blems in the original finish as only a percentage of each batch makes it to ProVape, if I recall correctly from the Busardo video.

Personally, I like the look of the polished colors -- and even bought a used one to do the treatment myself. It's looking so good, I haven't done it a year and 1/2 later!

Darn. To think I was dabbing all the colors into all those little lines and teardrops. <Sigh> I guess now that the 2.5 is selling for $29 one can afford to experimentally "customize" them.
Or pack one or two away as insurance for the future...

thanks. that might just be my project this weekend.
I love my satin steels. and the zenecote is so far, durable.

the purple is the only one in color i have.

right now it has a jwrap on it, and i think it feels degraded. I'm gonna have to change that. i like the idea of purple tear drops.

I was wondering about the screen. Zen did my beat up black, when he changed my top cap and screen.
