Sounds like you have the perfect ProVari to sand down to the metal while leaving the tear drops with color. I have been threatening to do this but none of mine have paint flaws yet.
But if they did - that's what I would do! I LOVE the look. There are pics around or you could have a look at Zens squareup site to get an idea of how it would look.

I have a few colors, but except for the Princess Purple the Silver Satins are my favorites. I never have to worry about the finish and can wrap it if I feel like a change - and there's no issues with leftover adhesive showing.

OoooH yeah! Definitely single malt (neat) or nothing. But the list of nice scotches is long and life & money too short to have as many I'd like. :w00t:

Glenlivet is the only one I'm really familiar with (I felt very posh the night I sent back a drink because I could taste it was blended). ;) You'll have to tell my what other ones to try. My casino probably has at least one you recommend.

They make many single malts, smoked 12-50 years, I think. If I didn't spend so much on Provaris, I'd be putting it somewhere besides my phone! (my liver is grateful though)

Livers are bad and must be punished.

Balvenie 15 yr old or 12 yr double wood, Aberlour, Laphroaig, Talisker, Macallan.......

They have very different characteristics depending on the area they come from in Scotland. If you can, try a "Scotch Flight" sometime of 3 to 5 different ones. Try a "Highland, an Islay, a Speyside, ect.
I tend to favor the Highland scotches but the Islay can really hit the spot when I'm in the mood for their smoky, peaty goodness.
