Well, there's more to it than the backlighting.

eReaders utilize a technological wonder called E Ink.

This stuff actually forms physical print, by moving a form of ink around, in response to electrical input.

It's really pretty amazing.

A good eReader reads just like reading printing off a paper page.

Might want to read up on it.

Oh, forgot to mention - I can "borrow" ebooks from the library on my Nook ( I think most e-readers can do this?) using Overdrive and Adobe Digital Editions.
Some libraries are now carrying the Kindle format as an option.

They are very cool and for an avid reader, it is an almost seamless transition.

I use my iPad and iPhone waaayyyy too much thruout the day to lug around a dedicated reader though.

Since we are talking about reading and I am on my current "gotta read all of the best books ever written" kick.... I gotta mention that I read the first chapter of The Sound and the Fury by Faulkner last night. What a completely messed up hard to follow intro. Mental. Brilliant, but man it is one of the toughest reads I have ever put myself thru.

Beyond, beyond, beyond ProVape, but I'm THRILLED and have no one to tell!!! I wore out the vinyl copy of this album decades ago and thought I would never hear it again! Once a year or so I Google the band to see if someone has a burned a bootleg CD...then tonight I found it on youtube and in ITunes!!!! God I love the internet. Oh yeah, I am vaping a ProVari.

(I won't be the least bit offended if no one likes it.)

Funny, but I have that on my nightstand. I started to read it, but soon discovered that I need a different version that has a bigger font. Such is age. I'm thinking of getting a Kindle - which distresses me, since I am a true book fiend. Every time I have moved to a new place, the first things I do are register to vote and get a library card.
The Kindle Paperwhite is flippin awesome. Quite possibly the 2nd best invention ever.

And I believe they're currently on sale. Not of blem fame and fortune, but on sale nonetheless.

Pick your poison, or passion, we all have ours. No one person is alike. Whatever suits your needs, foots the bill.
Too much poison for me, goodnight!:toast:

If you want to add this album back to your music collection here is where I purchased mine - MP3 Format
Amazon.com: Les porches: Maneige: MP3 Downloads

They also have the live version of this album in addition, they also have a number of different formats available listed on Amazon of this album if you do not want MP3

If anyone else has a opinion, please ring in. (I will, of course, be reading the ProVape manuals on the device.)

I'm definitely of no help in this area. I don't do enough real reading to warrant a dedicated reading device....phone & tablet are enough.

If I get the urge to read a book, well....that's where audiobooks kick in. My old iPod Classic has nothing on it but audiobooks.

Hey come to think of it....hey ProVape....device manuals on audiobook!!! ;)

!!! G*NOTE FIVE !!!

As read by Morgan Freeman. That would be something!
Funny thing is...

When that was mentioned. I went to my ProCyon Manual, selected text on the first page, and told my iPhone to read it...

It did, Just Fine!!!
