The coils shipped with the kit are .5. I needed more, so I bought the .6 that a local store had on hand.

They were terrible! No matter how I tweaked the small amount of air flow adjustment, the vape was very, very hot for me. I tried a couple of the coils and they both acted the same way. So I went on the net and got some of the .5 coils - and it's back to a very good vape. I have never seen such a difference for such a small change in resistance so I must be missing something. All I can say is that it's repeatable and consistent. I can't vape at all on the .6 but the .5 are great.

Note that I have tried two handfuls of subohm tanks and didn't find a vape that I liked on any of them, so why this little AIO works so well is another mystery to me.

Sorry I didn't directly answer your question since I haven't tried the 1.0, but the .5 is definitely the only one I will use.

Thanks. What I'm looking for is something I can refer to my friends. A year or so ago I thought it was the Joyetech Ego One. But I discovered it gets too hot too fast. The tank also leaks when you go from cold to hot in the summer. The AIO is the first I've seen since that might work. It's certainly cheap enough from Sweet-Vapes at only 15 bucks. At that price you could buy a new one every week with a bottle off juice and still not hit the cost of a carton of smokes, which I think is up to about $60 around here.

Actually you might be surprised. They use nicotine salts in their formula. The juice feels and draws almost exactly like a Marlboro red. You can't chain chain vape it, but again you wouldn't chain vape a red either. No button to push, same draw as a regular cigarette, and all in a tiny package that will last u a full night.
Jim,

Are you referring to the Juul above or AIO?

If Juul, does it taste like a Marlboro at least? I want to grab a "cigalike" device for my wife when I am in NYC in a few weeks as she doent like my fruity/creamy juices but really wants to vape to get off the butts.

Would this be considered more cigarette like than Blu et al.?

Thanks!

I'm not sayin one is better than the other. Just passing on my experience. It smokes and feels like an analog but minus a lot of the downsides. I won't be using it unless my mods are particularly targeted/banned.

I don't like it either. It's slippery slope from testing and cutting one's HSA contribution by $100 to eventual termination because of nicotine or anything else.

The other thing that gets me is if your company has a fully self-funded health insurance program, then the HIPPA laws do not apply. The company can at any time review your health claims and also monitor what drugs you are taking, and all without you giving any consent or even knowing about it. You can thank Mr. Obama for that.

And we can thank Mr. Bush for voiding the fourth amendment via the Patriot Act. The police can and do break into one's house, beat the crap out of them, steal anything of value, have any medical test performed and hold one for 48 hours without food or water, etc. And the kicker is the 48 hours begins when they say it begins, not when they knock down your door. How do I know this? Because it happened to me. The cops got the wild idea I was going to kill myself, and things went downhill from there. At one point I had three attorneys and one MD trying to get me out. No luck.

The whole deal cost me $20,000+ and now, even though I committed no crime nor charged with one, I'm on every "Do Not" list from here to the moon. Welcome to the Fourth Reich!

The slippery slope started when urine and blood testing without just cause became the norm, because of "public safety" being deemed more important than individual privacy. As a nation, we didn't raise a peep when it became OK to start testing certain sub-groups of our population because for the most part, people didn't see it effecting them. A certain train wreck was used to justify the new invasion of personal space as justifiable.

Fear was the tool used to break down that barrier to our right to protection of privacy of our own bodies and bodily fluids. Once that became accepted the foot was in the door...and today, smokers / nicotine users are the new target. Ask most people who never smoked or quit cold turkey how the feel about cotinine testing and raising the rates for insurance for those who test positive, I'll bet most don't care. Even to the point of individual being terminated from employment, I'd bet most don't care, it doesn't effect them personally.

The argument about personal privacy of our own bodies isn't even on the radar anymore. If that freedom was so easy to take away...

This is SUCH a great article about the US and Vaping. Great. But SO SAD, our government is so blinded by profits that they are willing to sacrifice the lives of people like me and you:

Great article is right. The fact that only 35% of people know that vaping is safer than smoking is scary though. Sometimes I swear that the entire vaping industry is run by kids. The vaping education process is so lacking that it is embarrassing.

I honestly believe that big tobacco is starting to do more than anyone else to dispel the rumors of vaping being bad. And this is 100% driven by their desire to capture a big piece of the $7B pie and kickstart a new and lucrative revenue stream.

Absolutely and BT is going to own us yet again with the help and blessing of the FDA.

Absolutely dead on. Ban Provaris but glorify Juul and Blu as the miracle breakthrough devices that were responsible for saving the lives of millions. Thanks Altria and Phillip Morris!

The states have a LOT to do with it too. As much or more, even, than BT.

BT and BG will never get another cent from me ... I've been Vapocalypse vaping for a couple of years now.

However, I do feel for all the smokers and vapers who are about to be cut off at the pass :smokie:
