I Really don't want to get into diy.. but I might have to depending on where we are going with this.

Mainly, it's about space constraints and convenience. I don't really want to be playing around with 100mg nic, either.

I was in the same boat. But I finally made the transition when I used 50/50 at 24mg nic based liters as my base. No worries about handling it and I'll be quite honest my juice is better than the stuff bought OTC. And as mentioned before, I can hoard years of supplies.

I use 100mg nic to mix with.
When I make up a batch of base I make it at 5mg.
I just use an empty juice bottle and mix up 1000mls at a time...it only takes 50ml of the 100mg for that. Then if I want something flavored I just take from there and come up with something 3-4ish.
Having a stash of +2500mls of 100mg nic in the freezer...I am kind of ok for a while.
That's a great idea.

Splitting a litre of 100mg NIC into 20 x 50ml bottles to freeze would be ideal for anyone that wants to be able to quickly make up a one litre base to have on hand. That way you only have to handle 100mg NIC every few months or so.

I don't split it up tho...I just pour 50ml into a beaker after I thaw it out.

I have also drawn it up with a ginormous syringe and squirted it into my big bottle.

So you keep litre bottles frozen? I freeze most of my NIC in 50ml bottles. I did a couple of 250ml for longer term storage and a batch of 100ml and 15ml as well. All amber or blue glass.

I usually have an open 50ml bottle on hand to work with. Usually lasts me a few months so I am not worried about it being left at room temperature.

Yes, I have a liter bottle and 3+ 500ml bottles in the freezer.
I leave it there until I need some...thaw it out, take what I need and put it back.

So sorry to hear this. I just found out that I have Breast Cancer so I know where you are coming from. I am lucky that they found it early but it is still very, very scary.

{{{{{{{{{{ Shari }}}}}}}}} Early is VERY GOOD!

I am trying to multi-quote all of you that responded to my breast cancer quote but I do not think I did it right. So please know you are included here and I thank you all for your support.

They caught it real early: stage 0. But I still have to have surgery, radiation and maybe chemo and drugs for 5+ years. I will be ok, once the shock is over. I wonder how much a boob weighs.... that is supposed to be me being funny. I will know more in the next couple of weeks. I want it cut out today, but that is not how it works. Just more and more doctors. But no thoughts of a cigarette so I guess I am cured of smoking. Just do not get between me and my Provari! I have mastered how to vape in the hospital. What are they going to do? Kick me out? I vape with my head under the covers. Have not been caught yet, or they are ignoring it.

Keep that sense of humor! It will help you get through this now that the initial shock is over. Your state of mind is very crucial in beating this. I know what you mean about wanting it out and wanting it out NOW!

Picture yourself cancer free down the road and you will get there.

I had a window bed and kept the curtain slightly drawn around the bed. ;) The nurses and cleaning staff all knew that I did not want my purse moved from my side  They just didn't know why *snicker*

I actually used my mod a LOT less and it didn't bother me at all.

I live in an RV - have for 5 years now. Yes, I love the lifestyle! Kids are grown and gone so just me and hubs now. I have one cabinet dedicated to DIY - its under the TV. I have 4 bottles of 120ml 100mg nic sitting in the back of the cabinet in the dark. I have no freezer space so everything must be able to fit inside the dark cabinet. I have upwards of 180 different flavors - I am in the process of going through the all to decide on what to keep and what to get rid of because of space. Some flavors I dont like - others I have never used.

At the moment and for as long as I can still buy it, I get premade pg/vg/nic base from ECBlends - 15mg nic for me and 9mg nic for hubs - so all I need to do is add my flavorings. When my supply of base runs out and I can no longer buy it - then I will tap into my supply of 100mg nic. Even if it does degrade by not being in the freezer - how much will it degrade by being 100mg nic? I'm sure I wont be able to tell the difference so I'm not worried about it.

Do not let the fact you think you dont have the space for DIY. I bet if you try - you can find a cabinet/drawer/under the bed/top of the closet cubby hole to stash some bottles in :)

I recall someone posting on ECF (or maybe another forum) that their 100mg NIC that was stored in conditions similar to yours degraded down to 95-96mg when formally tested after 3 or 4 years. Not totally insignificant, but not really a big deal for most of us.

Not sure if you (or anyone) would really care if your 15mg juice is really only 12 or 13 in a decade or two. I know I wouldn't have a clue if my 6mg was actually 5mg.

The slippery slope started when urine and blood testing without just cause became the norm, because of "public safety" being deemed more important than individual privacy. As a nation, we didn't raise a peep when it became OK to start testing certain sub-groups of our population because for the most part, people didn't see it effecting them. A certain train wreck was used to justify the new invasion of personal space as justifiable.

Fear was the tool used to break down that barrier to our right to protection of privacy of our own bodies and bodily fluids. Once that became accepted the foot was in the door...and today, smokers / nicotine users are the new target. Ask most people who never smoked or quit cold turkey how the feel about cotinine testing and raising the rates for insurance for those who test positive, I'll bet most don't care. Even to the point of individual being terminated from employment, I'd bet most don't care, it doesn't effect them personally.

The argument about personal privacy of our own bodies isn't even on the radar anymore. If that freedom was so easy to take away...

I agree 100%. And here's another "good" test. Right before they take your BP with one of those cheap wrist jobs, they ..... your finger for blood. Since that hurts, your BP shoots up for a minute or so. When I pointed that out the pharmacist's assistant from Walgreens, she shot back, "Where did you get your MD?" You can guess what my reply was.

I am way behind as usual. I am sure my comment is going to spark a bunch of hate and discontent. Which in a way i will find funny. But with all the talk about BT and the politicians and how BT has all the politicians in their pocket. One of the things I find interesting is Trump will not be in anyone pocket. Really think from here on out all politicians should run on their own dime. Maybe then we might be able to trust them. Now all they care out is the interests of the people that gave them the most money and BT fits that bill. So let the Trump hate begin.

You're probably right. And I don't hate Trump. I just don't want him to be my President.

Honestly I really thought he would have dropped out by now, but with Cruz and Kaschic or how ever you spell it trying to team up and Cruz thinking he is cute with naming a VP at this point in the game i think people are done. I am not a Trump fan, but this has been an interesting year to watch the elections. I really think people tired of the political correctness and just really want someone who speaks their minds. Trump has the money to do that and he is winning. He seem to be a very popular choice. It will prove to be interesting in the coming months.

True, it's an interesting (and in many ways, sad) election process this year. Trump may speak his mind, but the words that come out, don't match with my sensibilities on too many levels.

While vaping unites us, politics and religion are pretty non-negotiable. I've had at least one vaping friendship stall or die over them this year.

I do believe that the pendulum between the extremes keeps swinging back and forth as history shows it always has. I choose to remain optimistic about our country's future and believe common sense will prevail over time as we move back to the middle.

I learned in high school the power of the saying "cooler heads prevail". I was very popular with nearly all walks of life in my small high-school. Being outspoken and asking the questions others would only think to themselves. When class president came up in a very sarcastic way amongst my friends, I took it seriously. Yes! That's what this school needs! A leader who speaks her mind and will defend our rights and give a voice to our wants and needs!
Wow...was I wrong. As the election was drawing near, I realised my rival was the best choice. I won't bore you with the details of my epiphany but know she made a great year for us...especially that senior parking we had to share with the juniors!
All that to say yes, I agree in spirit with many things Trump is saying...but do I want him leader of this country? I'm torn.
On other note...no way I vote for Hillary. So there's that.
