Hello Everyone and Happy 4th of July!

It's been almost two weeks since I last checked in. That's the longest I've been away from the forum since I joined. And what may you ask have I been up to? The move from hell. If something could go wrong, it did go wrong. From the back to back closing, to having a brand new house without A/C, which required an all new A/C system to be installed in place of the brand new A/C system we already had. The brand new Samsung Fridge didn't work out of the box, and required being replaced, but that in itself caused more stress than one could imagine. The two nights we lived in a hotel before closing on the house wasn't fun. Emi, found her way into the box spring of a platform bed, which required we have the entire bed disassembled to get her out. Our Audio Video guy was reinstalling the sound system when the very expensive receiver we own went down, requiring I go out immediately and buy another very expensive receiver. Of course the universal remote system we had wouldn't work with the new receiver so I had to buy a new one of those as well. The security system company got us all connected, only to have the cable company take us down. And the cable company took 3 days to get cable, internet and phone all working at the same time.

But the good news is we closed on the house one week ago today and we are completely unpacked, all pictures hung and if anyone came it, it would look like we've lived here for a long time. We've worked non-stop to get it all put together and I must say it's a great house. The kitties seem much happier in the new space. They love to chase each other up and down the stairs. They have a lot more space to run around in.

So that's what we've been up to. Today is also a very special day for us and me. It's our 36th anniversary and 5 years ago today, I quit smoking completely and went 100% vape. I have not cheated once. So it's my 5 year Vaperversary!

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying a great holiday weekend.

Happy Anniversary and Vapaversary! So very happy to hear that you are finally settled in and kitties are frolicking.

Moves are hell. Sorry to hear yours was so eventful. Now you are not to even think of a remodel for many years! Enjoy!
