Thanks for the congrats on the move and anniversaries everyone! I may be offline for the next few days. Of all things to come up, tomorrow is my company Presidents Club trip, so they're taking us to the Ritz Carlton, in Naples, FL from tomorrow through Sunday. I really don't want to go away so soon after moving in the new house, but then you don't exactly turn down a free trip to a beautiful beach resort, right?!

If I don't check in again until Sunday, have a great rest of the week and weekend!

Yes, the sound system and TV, were the last to be taken down and the first to be hooked back up. As soon as my A/V guy let me know the receiver was history, I was in my car on my way to buy a new one. And the new receiver is 4K Ultra ready. Hmmmm, wonder how long before the TV is replaced with a 4K Ultra TV? Yes, I wonder!!

In my position, ish wasn't supposed to happen. :sneaky:
That's why they paid me the big bucks.
Hey, the only One that never made a mistake got nailed to a cross. :)
We ALL make mistakes, no matter what they pay us.
I'm just so glad you were spared. I'm sure you are an EXTREMELY valued employee.
When you work with big $$, the mistakes ARE in $$. It's all relevant. :)

I once made a $680,000 mistake at my job.....they kept me tho!:banana:
Yowzers!! Is that USD? (sorry..stupid ?) But I think its more common than we realize. My Oldest and one of my dearest friends (+/-50 yrs)..told me she ran a project 3/4Million USD over budget and was relieved they didnt make a big deal of it. I asked, "all by yourself?,...maybe you and your team went $750K over, right?" She owned it all as her goof. If the company's big enough, it'll be adjusted against the profits. Hope yours is a big place...making that ooops a smaller oops.
little oops are just being human beings.
Cheers.

All I can say is, 'Contingit mauris'. ;)
OK Dokee APF...youre NOT absolved, in fact you've just been banned! LMAO ...
No, No....nothing to do with the room, the forum..just my street, my house, my properties. I have so few rules in this short life- but 2 are irrefutable:
  1. I never, EVER want to hear the words- "oops" from a worker on the property.
  2. The 'Contingit mauris' more commonly used in the US- ".... happens" = absotutely BANNED!
CHeers...
