YAAAAAASSSS definitely scared the :censored: outta me.

And less than 3 weeks ago he was at the groomer. I dropped $100 on him that day, then 3 or 4 days later he manages to find some tar in the street that got on him. Back to the groomer for that. Now here he is today looking like Pigpen all because he wanted to play with moving cars! I feel like I'm caring for a toddler!
You are! :)

I am glad Bentley is OK. That gave me butterflies just thinking about it.

Myself & a few neighbors just had the :censored: scared out of us. We thought my Shih Tzu (Bentley) had been hit by a car. My heart practically stopped while the color was draining from my face.
The car involved hadn't actually hit him. My dog ran under the car & while the car was backing up (Unbeknownst to driver there's a dog under it) my dog was rolling backwards to avoid getting run over by a tire.

Glad that worked out okay. Wow.
Right now I swear I need something stronger than a vape!!!!!!:cry::shock:

Oh Kat , you are welcome. :)
I figured folks here would like to know.
I left the info here, at The Lurkers, and the New Reonauts Lounge.
If we can get it posted more places that would be awesome.
I just don't feel comfortable barging in anywhere else.

Hey.......we're home from spending a long weekend at my company's President Club Trip. We were at the Ritz Carlton in Naples. TBH, we really just wished we could have stayed home and enjoyed the new house, but we really needed to attend the trip, which was for those of us who exceeded our goals last year. I managed to throw my back out on the way down, so I walked like the Hunch Back of Notre Dame the entire weekend.

The resort was beautiful. But it was simply HOT HOT HOT this weekend and the food at the resort was over priced and not worthy of the prices they charge. We learned after our first day to eat outside the resort. Better food and prices for sure. One restaurant for anyone who may ever visit Naples is called USS Nemo. It's not on the water. In fact, it's in a strip mall, but man oh man the food was simply as good, if not better than any restaurant I've ever eaten in. I had king crab legs for an appetizer and my main course was a Parpadelle pasta with smoked pancetta, peas, main lobster, shrimp and the most incredible lobster sauce I've ever tasted.

Since it was too hot to even go to the beach, we shopped as Naples is a shoppers paradise and we got some cool things for the new house. We did swim in the pool at night when no one was there. Saturday was our company dinner. I hate large group dinners. This one lasted a full 4 hours at The Capital Grill. The food was good (not great), but at least the company paid for our meals.

We packed when we got back to the room and got up first thing this morning and came home. Naples is only 162 miles from Tampa and we were so focused on getting home it only took 2 hours and we were home by 11 AM.

Lex, I'm so glad to see your dog was unharmed. I know how much your little fellow means to you.

I hope you all had a good weekend. We won't be going anywhere for a couple months. Tomorrow they start the back yard project. All the grass in the side and back yard will be removed tomorrow. Then the fence gets stained and sealed. Tuesday, they'll be running the 220v electricity to the back yard for the spa. Thursday, the landscape company will start the hardscape (brick pavers and lush landscaping). The spa will be delivered towards the end of the month after everything is done and ready for it.

Welcome home, welcome back and wow, 'Brow! Sounds like KWITE the weekend! I'm sure you're pleased to be back in your new abode.

But dahlink...... are you really so envious of Kali that you're going to remove all the grass?

I must say that I've had so many Mods and still I have not one that can outlast a ProVari. I still have my first one and still use it for my travel Mod; since you can't break it. And I'm talking four years ago if not more now. Paint is a little dinged up but just like a Timex Watch; just keeps on ticking. SO with that being said I'm going to break down and buy a Radius. That gives me an excuse to give a few other Mods to "Vape for Vets". Plus Love my Brothers in Arms anyway.:smokie:

Squee! I love Victor, but my heart is torn between his sweetness and light and the dark broodiness of the Zipporin guy.

Gushes all girly like...

Good point. What's not to like about the dark broodiness. I particularly like the look, ma, no hands.
