Happy to be... Not Smoking!!!
I have nic stored from four, no, five different sources. There are very slight differences between a few of them, and some seem very similar to each other. I figured it would be good to spread it out among different sources for long term storage, but I don't foresee any problems with degradation over time now. I think it will all be fine when the time comes to use it.
May I ask your opinion of Carolina Xtraction Technologies Nicotine?

Thanks, Jim

I got a bad feeling in my gut way back when I first became aware of the pending FDA deeming regs, and when they were finally released I just couldn't believe how bad they really were. I really hope that @WillyZee is wrong on this one, but my gut tells me things are not going to go well for us.

I agree 100% with you. My feeling is that they are so fueled by the power they have--they are not going to let this go. Everything in this day and time is about "Power and Greed"--I am sick of it. For heaven's sake How Much Is Enough!! I am not concerned about anything else in this election but the 'power' someone will have to appoint Supreme Court Justices!

I have really tried to stay out of the politics in this thread because no one is going to change their mind. However-- I must say that with this election we are at a crossroads--our freedom and our Country are at stake. My hope is that common sense and a true love of our Country will prevail. One of the people running will do what is right for our country--the other doesn't want the job--just the power and will use that power to cause as much pain as possible. If you work--you should be punished--if you vape--you should be punished--if you eat sugar or drink soft drinks--you should be punished. The last 8 years have been about punishment and setting up a punitive system and they have gotten completely away with it--with no push back at all.

All that to say--the reason I agree with you is that this isn't about vaping--it is about money--but even more than that it is about punishing-- and enjoying watching people who took a good step and did something to be healthier be put in their place by the general public believing the lies, the misinformation, and buying it without any FACTS or STUDIES. And those people who bought it will VOTE.

Also--just one more thing--if they have the power to do what they have done to the vaping industry--they have the power to make sure the election goes their way so they can continue to power grab, fill their pockets and the pockets of those who they choose, and continue with the punitive environment that they have just started.

This time is different and we should all be 'very afraid' if we care at all about FREEDOM.

LOL--on another note--

Has anyone experimented with freezing already mixed eliquid?
I know, and forgive me, @Robino1 or @classwife has, but don't remember which one. Sorry ladies, too much going on in too many places for me to keep track of :)

My personal favorite to date. It does have a slight flavor, and it is a flavor that I find extremely pleasant. It's not a bite, or even a pepper, just a very smooth undertone. Very smooth...

PS, I couldn't afford a liter of it at the time, so I got a 120 ml, then later ordered three more 120 mls

That was me.

It was a NET. Out of sheer curiosity to see how it would fare, I placed a 30ml bottle fresh out of the mail into the freezer. I wanted to see what it would be like in a year.

A year went by where I had completely forgot about it. Something triggered my memory and it was just over a year when I brought it out of the freezer.

Placing it side by side with a fresh bottle, there was no difference in color. I treated it just like I would a fresh bottle. Opened it for a day or so to let it start the aging process. It behaved exactly like the fresh bottle. They aged the same at the same time.

This is a liquid that I have been vaping exclusively for about 2 years. Day in and day out. It is my all day, everyday vape. I know how it is supposed to taste and look.

It was identical to the fresh bottle.

Again, this was a NET so there is not complicated mix of flavors. I cannot say this works for All liquids. It worked for mine.

Since doing this, I get an extra bottle or two with each order that I place and put them in the freezer. I will continue to do this until I cannot get my favorite. I hope that day never comes.

I have started vaping unflavored in the Kabuki to extend the life of the coils. I have a lot of coils for it, but that is something that can be a choke point. Extend the life of premade coils and use the NET on coils I can make and will have no problem getting supplies to continue making them.

I'll quit vaping altogether, before I buy anything like that. Maybe that's what the FDA is really hoping for anyway.......:grr:

I wanted to say that they just want you, and everybody else, back smoking but that's not really true. They are whores. They just want your $! The tax revenues missed on vaping are astronomical from the government's perspective.

Thank you Robin--it sounds like you have a good plan going on. Thanks for the info--that gives me hope that freezing just might be ok. I don't vape complex juice either so it just might work. I like the idea of the unflavored in the Kabuki, I will try that thanks! I want to stock up a little bit on the ones I really like, and am working a little bit with DIY. With the unknown 'future' the coils will I think be the issue down the road.

You got me interested, but then I saw the price. :) Haha.

Gonna place an order for the stuff Willy linked to right now. I had broken it down to where I figured about 175ml of 100mg/ml base will last me 1 year. (4ml a day of 12mg finished juice)

So rounding that up to 200 - that means that a liter should last me 5 years. (Ish).

So really for like $160 for 20 years. And $320 for 40 years? Is my math off? $40/bottle of Willy's link.

This is of course assuming I can get VG/PG (even if it's taxed, it'll be cheap o l would think).

Then of course flavor bases... I just spent like $150 buying every possible juice i might like. Lol. If i can find a winner in the near future, or a couple winners ideally and stock up...

Oh darn gov't pushing me in this silly direction....! I think K realistically, I'll probably get 2 bottles (10 years worth).

Unflavored doesn't have the sugars or other extras that can potentially gunk up a coil quicker.

I don't think it can hurt to try freezing a non complex liquid. :)

I've been storing complex premade liquid in my freezer for years.

I have been quite pleased but do note that after some time the flavor starts to change slightly. Freezing slows down the aging and so called steeping process. Some flavor components seem to simply fade out faster than others, which changes the blend a bit. Even my two year old liquids are still quite vape-able....but, like anything, YMMV and it could depend on the flavors, the brands, and one's taste buds, too.

Experts may say otherwise -- but that is my experience.

BTW, it didn't help the early testing flavors I didn't like and threw in the freezer to try later...... Most of my experience is with my favorite liquids --- NLV, of course.

Actually, I've been freezing my premades since I've been vaping...... with abstolutely NO ill effect, and having the vliquids taste like the day they arrives (yes, I've vaped both). My humble recommendation? Freeze them without fear.

If the court cases don't go in our favor, I think this is what we will have for choices in two years time:

it's kind of sad looking little thing isn't it?

Interestingly enuf, today (or yesterday), Phil Busardo posted in TYJ about the VT forum. It was somewhat unfamiliar to me, so I did have the desire to check it out.

Upon exploration, what did I see on their home/about us pages?

We are talking the biggest money agenda the world has ever seen ... they are going for it all, in favour of taxable cartridges.

The lawsuits will be squashed.

The Black Market is waiting to pounce.

Greg (Conley) had a 2.5 hour interview recently, and made several poignant comments on the upcoming black and gray markets. One statement hit me hard:

"No other time in American history has there been the prospect of people HAVING to resort to black market sales to get a far, far less hazardous alternative to a legally available, deadly product."

@coldgin96 - Meant to mention, I cleaned up all my brass contacts, looking good/clean as new.
Thanks, and glad I stumbled in on that conversation!! :D

Excellent! I was thinking about that conversation with Celica back in the day and I believe the term she used was metal polish. I chose Brasso because it's what I had from way back in The Army.

These are all just so heartbreaking.
My favorite custom drip tip maker (Molehill Mountain) had their last run/offering on Sunday night, officially closing on the 8th. :(
Yeah, we went to the vape shop in Bad Axe Monday. CLOSED, sign in the window - FOR LEASE...
