We started via revolution. The founding fathers believed that we will continue to need protection for our government not to become tyrannical. They believed in the threat of revolution to keep government under control.

What's the first thing a tyrannical government does before they show their true colors? Register all arms so they know what doors to break down.

I seem to be the only bleeding heart liberal in this thread. I'm in favor of gun control. I'm frightened to my very core at the damage Trump will inflict on this country.

With that, I clearly don't fit here at this time. So, I bid you all a great next couple months. The people will speak and the election will be over in November. For that I'm very grateful.

I enjoy reading what you have to say. It's obvious you feel the way you do with conviction and have your own reasons for it. You are articulate in relaying your opinion and I can actually see why you feel the way you do on issues I don't agree with you. You have the right, like the rest of us, to climb a mountain and shout it out loud despite what these other holes (yes, that includes me, I'm one of the other holes) have to say about it.

If you don't want to get into it, state your opinion and move on. Everybody needs to see/hear opposing opinions It gives us cause to think and sometimes even change our minds...

I'm not laughing -- I think it's kind of sad that people I've come to feel I know and enjoy are in each other's face every couple of days. Isn't it time for some growing up? Discussion and sharing of ideas can be a very good thing.

I want to say that was just a couple $ more than the base shipping cost.
