Scroll through the voltage, if it goes down to 2.9 volts it's a V2, if it only goes down to 3.3 volts it's a V1. V1 had a 2.5 amp limit, which was increased to 3.5 amp limit on the V2.What did I buy, V2? Could not find on Provari site.
Is there a way to make it a flat top?
Or will only a ring work? If so where is the least expensive ring still available?
What choice do I have for battery sizes besides 18650?
Thanks.

I would check with Provape. Not sure about your older Provari, but I sent 3 of my 2.5's back to them to have the P3 flat top installed and it was only about $20 each. Much cheaper than HoH.What did I buy, V2? Could not find on Provari site.

Funny thing about Chicken out Ridge is more men Chicken out than women. Some women giggle and keep on going while most of the men say "oh ...." a bunch of times and turn back.
Chicken out Ridge is not difficult, it is just scary because of the visual effect it has. You can use your Provari till you get to the fun part but once you arrive to the fun part you put the Provari away and stick an Emini Duo between your teeth and proceed. When you summit break the Provari back out. There are much more dangerous and difficult places but Chicken out Ridge for some reason can cause the shakes and it does not make any sense for it to do that.

never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever EVER. but hey, have fun with that!
Hmmmm, an Earthquake while hanging off the side of a mountain might be a little sporting trying to dodge the falling rocks while holding onto a ledge and such.![]()
What are the odds of that?If there is an estthquake while you are hanging off a rock, it's just your time. Kinda like being hit by frozen airplane waste or a meteor. Sorry, time's up!
I did a search on this place, some really cool video uploads on the Youtubes. The odds are pretty remote if there have only been 5 deaths and 2 of them were during the earthquake. Borah gets a lot of climbers, most days except winter there are people climbing it.
If they have an earthquake again and it is daylight in the Summer someone is probably going to be on it.
You might want to open a ticket and get it looked at. One of my Ti ProVari's had a top cap assembly that wasn't very snug, it could be walked out and off with just a little pressure, sent it in and got it back nice and tight. So, say someone wasn't paying attention whilst removing a KFL+, and managed to remove the entire P3 top on a Classic V2...![]()
