A posting of orders shipped would be good, but NOT like Janty, whose posting was inaccurate and misleading.
Now the question becomes whether Steve & Co. are the people who have to actually screw them together. In other words, up and close, are they the manufacturer?
Makes no difference to me, as long as I get mine, but it really means "Made in America."![]()

Kept trying to fight myself and not order until someone had gotten one and reviewed it. With my history with puresmoker, I have never been disappointed, so I broke down and did it. And I feel gooood!
In my opinion, power-coating is better. Anodizing is a surface treatment that is very thin. It's good for paint overlay, but it's not very durable by itself. It's prone to scratching, and then the advantage of it is gone.
Powder-coating is better because it's thicker, shinier, and slicker. We're already familiar with it from our batteries and atomizers.
I had already been considering what I'd use to make the body finish more durable and attractive. I had pretty much settled on a thin weave carbon fiber overlay, maybe in red and black or blue and black.
The powder coating gives me more time to think about it and acquire samples, so I'm not too sad about this development at all.
