Are the 510 adapters that are shipping doing so with the longer posts?

I have one of the 'early' Protigy V2s (510). It works, but needs a lot of atty fiddle-futzing.

Is this a symptom of a short post? If so, is this something I can change out myself, or will the entire unit need to be sent back?

Hey Dynawg --

Just the adapter needs to be sent back, not the entire unit (but its pretty much like sending the entire unit) unless you have a 2nd adapter style (801/901)

And it does sound like you have a short post! We would be happy to switch it out for a longer one.

LOL ... Shouldn't be that long Dynawg (or perhaps it will since you are in WA) You could always get a 901 adapter (i believe we have those in stock) and a couple 901 atomizers to use while the switcheroo is taking place.

can someone tell me if the kr808D1 adapter is slotted?
From what I understand it needs to be slotted for a vapor king carto otherwise it doesn't draw well at all.

They are not slotted. There is a hole drilled down the middle of the center post and another hole drilled through the side near the bottom to get your airflow.

They work fine with VK cartos. Then again, all VK cartos are slotted I believe.

Edit: yes, they also have the hole through as Johnny 5 said, which will result in a fairly easy draw overall.

I find that a red-hot coat hanger inserted in the ear is usually adequate to rid yourself of that.

Be careful though, there are side-effects.
