Before working on cart material....shouldn't we see what atty's approx temps reach at 3.7v and 6v????

My usb battery pack supplies 6v and I have been using it for months with no problem. 801 Carts last several weeks or more before changing. Haven't burned out an atomizer yet.

Cash, in the video you said if you're a flavor junkie, the 3.7v is the way to go. Will the 6.0v batts kill flavors of mellower juices, or will I just not be able to taste anything due to the massive throat hit? Btw, with that much vapor at 6.0v, we're gonna have to rename throat hit, more like head nose & throat hit from what I saw.

Does kill the flavor per say, the throat hit is just much more pronounced, thus the flavor takes a back set to the throat hit. I still get plenty of flavor at 6v :)

So the flavor is totally lost with 6v, and you just get a wicked throat hit ???? Also, regardless of which atty you go with, the batteries are interchangeable, yes ??

No No No ... Flavor is NOT totally lost. Yes, as seen in the vid, batteries are interchangeable.

Good Morning Steve! So what's the verdict on using carts in the Prodigy?

Will get on that right away sir :)

Just a small request. Can you try the 18650 battery with the 801 adapter with a cart? Please?

I'm good with throat hit and vapor of fully charged regular e-cig batts. I just want to run longer with less fiddling/filling/charging.

I ordered the base with 901 and the 801 adapter. Waiting to add batteries and 510 adapter. Only run my 801 on passthrough anymore. Would really love to go cordless.

This device looks really interesting. However, I definitely would like to use cartridges because they're convenient, and I don't want to carry bottles around for dripping. I liked the big disposable e-cigar I tried, which lasted for weeks of casual vaping - I called it my never-ending cigar. I could just put it down and pick it up whenever I liked without having to think about re-filling. I'd like to see a big atomizer and cartridge like on one of those.

Thanks for the video review. I wish you great success with your new product.

Something I haven't seen mentioned yet .... if it has been, and I missed it .. I apologize for repeating it ...

Towards the end of the video where Steve is talking about what he personally uses, he says he was up to 16mg nicotine .. and is now down to 11, and sometimes 4 .... I don't know about the rest of you ... but to me .. this is another + ... if i can _comfortably_ lower my intake of nicotine ( I vape 18mg consistently) ... I have to view that as a really GOOD thing .....

Just my 2cents

Thanks for the video. It is exactly what I had imagined.

Btw Steve, change my ordered units to penstyle and not the 901s I ordered by accident!!
Nuck,
i emailed to switch from the 801 to the 901 because when the sale started the batteries were labeled opposite..
i got an email from Casey today saying She changed it for me.
took a few days but awesome service to email me back so soon.

Steve,,
when you make a video maybe you have a rendering option with different settings in your software.
i use studio 9 and can render for dvd quality or windows media quality.
the dvd ones are good for family dvd high quality videos etc,,but the windows versions are usually small files which upload in 10 minutes to youtube or myspace.

You mean I can't use my coffee filters with the Prodigy?
You can only drip?

No... you can use carts, but at higher voltages the carts will dry out faster, and you should take care to keep them wet. Folks that use the SD with carts top off regularly with an occasional drop on the atomizer. It should be the same with the Prodigy at 3.7v.

At 6v, I imagine you'll just want to drip to make sure the atomizer stays wet.
