LOL. My trusty VAMO runs the monster at 1.29Ω with the appropriate tip for airflow.

(Only stick variable that'll go that low reliably for under 30$!)
That is a nice little forrest you got goin' there crg.
Good luck.
Nice! I can bug you for advice when my KFL+ V2 gets here Friday! Think my SID should be too.

First try - 8/7 wrap, 30g kanthal, 5/64, 2.0 Ω. Need some practice, I notice the ends aren't perfect, but for the first time usage, I am psyched! I have been hand winding on a 16g needle so this is a different feel for me, but easier to get the tension just right. I also switched to a Lightning Vapes base from an EVOD clone base; the 5/64 fits perfectly in the LV base where it did not in the EVOD base. Humm, now what else can I rebuild around here...

Thanks cig! That's what I saw too. I wrapped 2 more and managed to keep the end wraps tighter each time. With practice I will be building pristine coils in no time!

Curious what the diameter of your winder is. Hopefully cig will pipe in. I don't have time to locate mine and mic it.

Mac, clnire's winder has an .067 on one end and 5/64" (actually .0765) on the other. Hope this helps. Honestly have forgotten what I sent you. Maybe .067 on one end and 4-40 screw on the other?
The 10pack of .070 bits I bought as of late all measure .067 but I had a couple of .069's lying around. You may have gotten one of those in your winder. Both work quite well with RXW Nextel XC-132.

I see what you are saying cig. My 3rd wind was much better (sorry should have taken a pic) but one of my fave juices was just not giving me the flavor it used to even with clean, dey burn, through rinse/dry and rewick with KGD. I put that 3rd coil on the Evod (with KGD) with the fave juice and I am back in flavor heaven!
I am going to keep working on it. I realized I was turning the wire, not the tool Duh! Much easier now.
It's def 4-40 on one side which is a good dimension for winding. Dunno the other. I deburred the screw slightly with some common steel wool and some quad but not enough to get it slippery. S'good. Haven't run XC through 'cause it is about 5/64" as 132 really doesn't perform as well there. And I never ran it on a spaced wind as a t.m.c. always outperformed both a torched contact or tight m.c. on everything from a 16th to 1.8mm. So that pretty much clinched it. However, that diameter might be excellent for XS-132 if I can get more to get around to it.
Thanks for the heads up.
Good luck.
