Has Proteus arrived in the U.S. yet? Trying not to get too excited. It makes time go by too slow.
proteus arrived already at skysmokerApproximately when will Proteus arrive at "SkySmoker"?

he is assembling the units
So my question is - would Proteus features work with Tilemahos and how (by "how" I don't mean tehnically but would it function properly same as with titanium wire)?
And one general question: I was always vaping atomisers/cartomisers with 1.8-2.2 ohm. What's the difference with low resistance, let's say from 0.5 to 1 ohm? I ask because I have never tried and don't even have a slightest idea.
Imho, no, Proteus won't work with SS.
I've tried a 1.0Ohm SS316 build on it (no spring, regular coil in a Kayfun Mini) and it didn't "work".
Well, it did vape, but it always blew full power to my coil with red lights ("cannot reach desired temperature") even on the lowest temp setting. Proteus tried to give it full power to reach the wrong temperature. Imeo will correct me if I'm wrong, but imho it's because SS has a lower TCR (resistance change lower with temperature than Ti) and hence Proteus thinks the temperature is far lower than it actually is so it gives full power to reach the temp which of course he never can because that SS would be far too hot in reality if he did.
You could either make your own Ti springs for Tile or go a different way. I've found the Tile to be too bulgy on the Proteus, tried a Kafun Mini V3 which is still 2mm wider than Proteus and ended up with a Penelope V4. If you're a MTL vaper you'll love Penelope, for lung-hitters the draw is probably to tight
On regulated mods it's not much of a difference, my .25mm Kanthal 2 Ohm builds taste pretty much the same (imho) than my .25mm Ti1 .7 Ohm builds (and my .25 SS 1 Ohm)
The difference would be a big one on a mech as power would be 6 Watt for my Kanthal vs 20 Watt for the Ti1 build on a normal Li-Ion battery.
