PROTEUS & PENELOPE V4 working in my hands.
It's been awhile since I responded. I wanted to give Proteus the full benefit before responding.
First coil setup successfully. All of Proteus menu and functions seem to operate very good so far. This is the Temperature Control Ecig I have been waiting for.
I am a Tube Mod user. I don't use box mods (too bulky), and lately I have only been using solid steel tanks instead of clear ones. I stealth vape in places, and businesses that I shouldn't and no one knows what I'm doing partly because of the solid steel tank.
It was always guess work to figure out if I needed more juice in the tank...now I have Proteus to alert me when I need more juice or if the coil is badly fed. I have vaped while forgetting to open liquid control and sometimes I end up with a burned wick on a mech mod. I'm pretty sure Proteus won't give me any burned wicks.
Proteus batteries, I'm not sure how often I will have to change them out. This is my first mod in years where I'm not using 18650 batteries and so far these 14500 batteries are doing surprisingly well. I'm using Efest V2 button top 700mah 14500.
The Penelope V4 has its own air hole base so I'm not using the air control on Proteus, which is fine for me because that makes it less risky for juice to leak onto or into Proteus. I'm also using the original air hole Penelope V4 base. No whistling sound for me.
The Menu functions are easy to figure out. I will be referring to the first page of this thread for the next week or so until I have all the blinking light functions memorized.
I don't know if I will get another Proteus since only 700 are being made. I would want everyone who wants one to be able to have a chance to get one.
I cannot say enough good things about Proteus. Thank you Imeo for this one of a kind, awesome Ecig.
