So after the good words from monkkx, I ordered a Proteus. I've had it for 1 week now and it's really small and beautiful. The vape however is a bit too cold. The proteus does not display the 1 short red blink to show that the battery is too weak to reach the desired temperature. This should mean that the Proteus reaches 220 or 230 or 260, whatever I have it set to.
Anyone have any ideas?

it seems that proteus reaches the temp because the feeding is small Seek. If you open the mouthpiece for more feeding, what is happening?

This setup is working really good for me. All day vaping at 5 steps. Only cons the vape is cold for my like but the batt is still working from 9am to 6pm and two tanks refill. The setup is 0.92ohms, 7/6 wraps 2mm coil with 32 awg Ti grade 1 wire. I will test same setup but 6/5 wraps to see if the vape is a little warmer.
The batt finally died at 9pm. Usually by 9pm I had used 3 batts.

Previous conversations he indicated he was working towards a healthy life, eliminating stress and <shudder> quitting vaping. He was my greatest vape friend at one point and I hope he is happy and well!
Since I like to document things as much as the next GG guy, here's a size comparison between an Efest V2 button top and a 650 mAh AW. The Efest is considerably longer but fits fine in Proteus with its negative contact cranked in. The circumferences seem identical, the Efest fits as smoothly as the AW. I have not made a judgment as to performance, I'm just excited to have 8 good batteries at this moment!
