After this great achievement Imeo, if ever you feel bored, I suggest you start looking at the chemical industry :) ... it's now the bottleneck on ecig ... they need to be challenged in order to improve batteries technology to be on par with your electronic design!! A 900mAH batterie on a 14500 form factor would be the perfect companion for this wonderful little beast.

I love the GG devices because they are built up with so many parts and every single part has its own purpose. Imeo pays attention to every single detail.

Obviously the same standard applies to Proteus. It is tiny and consists of many tinier parts. Amazing is that those micro parts have their own purpose again.

Kudos for Imeo. You've done extremely fine job again!!

In a world full of mods we can still make the big difference guys. Also wait to see its electronics. Small, powerful, strong with new features that no other electronic part has. Be sure that you will be more impressed than the mechanical construction of Proteus.

I forced to make this mechanical construction because my electronic engineer told me that power loss is not acceptable on his electronics. So I had to make something that doesnt exist anywhere, even on other devices except e-cigs

I wrote a big reply it was lost in Internet space. I hope I remember it all here it is:

First you have to make the 14650 battery extension. I think everyone would agree.

Second that was very impressive with the spring loaded application. It is a turning point in the mechanical world and engineering.

Third did you try the device with less than 0.4 ohms? What would happen? Would it not fire or it gives strange results?

Fourth does the device have any buck circuitry. As in firing at 2.5 volts for example? What happens if the calculated voltage is less than that of the battery.

Fifth what happens if I stack batteries? Will it fry the board or not function or maybe function better :D

Sixth do you have a spec sheet with input output voltage input output current etc...

Seventh Impressive work on the button it seems I can switch very fast between wattages.

Eighth regarding the mechanical button, you didn't mention it's conductivity. I would assume it has a certain drop in voltage because if the soft spring unless metal on metal contact is easy? What is the tolerance of the opening where the metal parts move?

:D
