Yeah can imagine VIR on the bottom base [emoji7]I'm pretty sure Imeo once mentioned VIR for JGG. Would be a bigger chip and hence easier and cheaper to mass produce. What do you say imeo?.

yes there is Otello. Here they are:Of course, a new part request is a request to be queued in the to-do list.
BTW, is there a published list of the urgent spares you're going to make?
I am now making the rest of VIR's my dear! After that I will make the new software for justGGTop I think but imeo why no response about Vir for JGG?![]()
maybe I will do Fanky. Let me see how fast Proteus will go and I will decideImeo did I read correctly that you wont produce proteus numbers over 700?
thank you Nandy! Thats what I wanted to hear. 4 years were 4 years of serious development! Thanks Imeo!!!
So far Proteus and VIR working as described. First tank vaped to completed wick dried, no burn taste, amazing. So easy to manage the menu if you want to or simply put the atomizer wait for the discovery to finish and vape just like that. The only downside is not Proteus related [emoji2], is the Penelope with it tight draw, oh man, I cant imagine how an amazing vape would be if the Penelope had a draw like the Tilemahos. [emoji30]
Imeo definitely the wait was worth every sec, min, hours, days, months and years that it last.
Thanks again for the great job done. [emoji106][emoji122][emoji108]
hope it will come soon Kef!cant wait to get hold of mine but the delivery seems to have got stuck in bologna for the last 4 days, come UPS get your act together .

Hi there,
i've got some problems with my proteus concerning the VIR chip.
After inserting an accu (efest 14500 imr v2 700 with nipple) an attaching my penelope v4 (titan coil, 0.75ohm),
VIR recognized it properly (orange light flashing several times, then stays on for 2 seconds) everything fine, it vapes!
Problem is, when i detach the penelope to mount a different atty with titan-coil, VIR does not recognize that. No blinking green lights, no self-lock.
I've tried it several times, detached in locked mode, in vaping mode, changed the accu, etc. - nothing.
Then i made a new coil on the penelope with 0.95ohm and VIR does not recognize it.
It vapes, but in totally odd conditions. burned taste, can't reach the desired temperature, etc. - sure, the resistance is completely different.
What can i do now? Imeo?
Send in the VIR? Is there some kind of "cold reset" possible?
Thanks in advance!
Tobi
sorry to hear that you're having problems with your VIR. I've encountered issues upon receiving it as well (here and here)
It was kind of the other way around with me. VIR did either not "see" my atty at all or detected a short (while it was a perfect 1.0 Ohm Ti build, the one I'm vaping on right now).
As I've stated I don't know what really did the trick and made my VIR work (perfectly ever since, detection works like a charm, TC is perfect), but I've disassembled it entirely twice before it finally decided to detect my atty.
So what I did, except for the battery voodoo:
Cleaned all threads, took apart the spring loaded top cap, lubed the o-rings in there, "cleaned" the sides of VIR (where I guess it make negative contact). About that top cap: I had the suspicion that since it felt stuck anyway there might be a chance of the orings giving way when pushed down somewhat lopsidedly and that might have caused the short. I even took another look at Imeo's vid to make sure the positive pole should slide out from this top cap and is only held by orings - it didn't move so I was unsure. After taking it out and lubing those rings the spring loaded application works much smoother.
Maybe taking apart that top cap might help you, too. Have you tried screwing it off in your endeavor to make VIR see that there is no atty?
Regards and good luck!
