Hi guys, I seem too be having trouble locating a seller in the UK for the right batteries. Unprotected 14500's nipple top right? seem fairly scarce. none even on efests website, just flat tops, even the store i bought the Proteus from doesn't sell them. Does it matter if they are protected? I have found a few of them. Please any advice guys? Thanks

AFAIK protected batteries won't work with VIR - at least not well if at all

did a quick google for "efest v2 14500 .co.uk" and found a source:
doesn't say button-top but afair, with those Efests, V2 means button - and it shows a button-top in the pic:

Edit: Oh, never mind, I'm blind. It says "Button Top" in the item description so go for these

There are some efest on amazon.uk. But very expensive. Maybe worth to take a look here: 14500
They send to UK.

Brilliant, thanks for that massive help, I'd come across similar on amazon but was unsure as on efest's site all batts have a purple cover, you reckon these? I'll go with these, thanks buddy...

Have you tried torchy (jim) I get all my batts from him. He's got some on his eBay page, only 650mAh though, message him, he may have others.

purchased 3 aw 14500 batteries from esg they are fine

please try to find original batteries Lo Zio and you will be very pleased. Also, try a charger that raises the charge up to 4,22 or 4,25 volts
