Just ordered a ProVari. I ordered 2 batts, a pack of their recommended cartos, the extension cap and a tube of the thread grease. They are out of stock on the black batts. I'll order those later I guess. Sure hope this thing is worthy! My wife's gonna kill me!!!

LMAO! Does she vape? Let her use it for an hour. She will understand.

The only thing that I'd say is that you know that there are no "preferred" cartos for the Provari. Get the ones you like. They can be had cheaper. Also, Noalax grease is nothing but run of the mill dielectric grease, which you can get from auto zone for $1.79 a pack.

And the price on my provari came out to 25$ more than my Darwin , with the provari you got to buy the battery and charger end cap and all. The Darwin you have it all. Just in a league of its own!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont know how I missed this mod, but as soon as i saw the video on it, I ordered one. Now, just wish I hadn't bought an Omega the day before. Guess I'll sell it once it gets here. Also picked up one of the Bulli A2-T's for the Pavari, hope they go well together. :)

If you know anyone that wants a brand new Omega, I'll make you a sweat deal!

Wait...

There's nothing wrong with an Omega. It's a fine PV. Keep it. Enjoy it.

Just because you buy a Cadillac doesn't mean you have to stop enjoying a Chevrolet.

This Provari is excellent. Thanks to everyone, I can now see why the reviews on it are up there. I ordered a Big Daddy Vapor 3ml tank with the aluminum caps which arrived convieniently the same time the Provari did. (I stood over the UPSP mailman at the time, stalking, no. Being a PITA, yes.) I must admit, they look pretty damn sexy together and work great. 4 volts and 2 ohms tastes and vapes great! This will likely be the last pv in the collection for a bit... unless they come out with a colored lcd readout and it plays mp3's...

wow; wish the bulli's were that easy to "pick up one".... don't sweat it... use both PV's (saves mileage on one). One for a tank and one for uh.... fill in the blank... and when one gets hot and you haven't had enough, go to the next one.

Since getting the Provari, and knowing how much I've invested in it, I decided to try and find a great holster for it. I'm a communications tech by trade, and on the weekends I hit the trail with my mountain bike, and lots of hiking and climbing. I needed something that would hold up to some abuse. So, I first stumbled across a Coleman nylon flashlight holster, about 8" tall with a velco lid on top. The Coleman works great, almost the entire PV, tank and drip tip included are completely covered and concealed. It also has a belt loop. The drawback to it is the nylon material is thin, nothing else to reinforce the holster. It does fold up nice to stow away when not in use.

The Coleman holster with the Provari inside:

I also checked out a local combat/cop supply store named Skaggs here in town as well. I found a really nice rigid nylon case which fits the Provari perfectly. Made by Bianchi, it's original purpose was to hold a flashlight of similar dimensions. The drip tip and upper portion of the tank are visible with this one though, but this case is much stronger than the Coleman. It also features a velco lid. They did have another model identical to this one with a button snap lid, though I didn't like the idea of having the inner portion of the button inside the holster coming into contact with the PV, and the potential to have it get scratched.

Here is a side shot with the Provari inside:

An interesting sidenote on this: While I was at Skaggs this morning, the girl who was helping me asked what the case would be used for. I looked at her for a moment, then pulled out the Provari out of my pocket. She looked a little surprised, then I mentioned it was an electronic cigarette. She then understood, and proceeded to tell me about her Greensmoke and how much smaller it was. Then I was really surprised when she told me to vape it right there in the store. Taking advantage of this I did and clouded the place up pretty good, leaving the smell of Snickerdoodle Cookie in the air. She got a kick out of it, then asked all her co-workers to come check it out. None cared about me vaping in the store, all of them seemed pretty interested in it. So I guess it's a good thing that these devices are becoming more popular for sure.

Here is a link to the Bianchi holsters sold by Skaggs, though I did not see the model I purchased on the page.

Guys n Gals, got my ProVari yesterday. I've only swapped batteries once. Got em both charging right now. :) This is, to me, the last mod, or e-cig, I will ever need to buy. I have a Silver Bullet, lasted two years, and the switch finally gave out. They are fixing it for me, so I'll always have it as a back up.
This ProVari is amazing!!!!! I've used a plethora of attys on it, so far, all of em have performed fantasitc. Just adjust the voltage to the optimum setting for the atty you are using at the time, and voila! Tons of billowing clouds! An 18650 lasted me, a fairly heavy vapor, almost my entire shift today, and I work 12's. I used a 1.5 ohm dual atty carto from MV today, with my favorite Tasty Vapor juice-Tasty Finger, and was in vape heaven all day. The ProVari is set at 3.9 ohms, and I've never had so much fog from any e-cig.
The mod seems to be very well made, how long it will last remains to be seen of course, but it is well made. It's comfortable in the hand, not too heavy, and once you get used to the codes, easy to operate. I'll post more opinions as I use it over time.
Expensive? Yes. Worth it? If it lasts like the SB, definately!
Now to get a tank...... :):):)

got my Provari today. oh. my. mf. god. :)

using a IKV HV 3.5 ohm. not too shabby. cant wait to try some of the atty/cartos coming in the mail this week.

Love the ohm tester. I got a bazillion attys/cartos laying around that I dont remember what they were.

I feel like I'm almost at the perfect vape for me. Now to find that juice that just blows me away.
