What kind of black ceramic glaze? I have a kiln and could give it a try but I don't know what to use on stainless steel. I do know that stainless steel will discolor in temperatures higher than 950 degrees so they would all have to be cleaned up after.

I was thinking about this I wounder if I could fill in all the engravings with a black ceramic glaze, take the spring out and fire the cap in my kiln, not sure why I couldn't. it would not be the same glaze that provape uses, but should work, I have not used my kiln in a long time.

I too would like to see the Provarinati picture stay the same or at least be close too what we all see and used to seeing on ECF.
The All Seeing eye in a pyramid with Provarinati and LUMEN SEES TOTUS.

Can the Made in USA be put on the side?

I'm just saying, Yea the ProVari is made in the USA (everyone knows this) but isn't the Provarinati world wide?
We don't want people thinking we're just a American cult but more like a world wide Cult :p
We welcome people from any country that sales or can smuggle in ProVari's. :)

Another thing and Most Important thing, is the Great People at ProVape Seen it, Like it, and want to use it, so why change it?

What he said!
I really don't care if it has Made in the U.S.A. written on it. All the Provarinati know where it's made.

Normally yeah, allot. But I fell out my wheelchair 2 weeks ago; which, was also a month after I had a major cardiovascular surgery done on my femoral artery. When I fell out the chair I snapped my tibia and fibula in two places. So, I've been stuck in the bed for two weeks now, with my leg in a cast and elevated.
I have to go in to the hospital in 4 hours to get tests done and I'm a nervous wreck. So ready to get out of this house. Just hoping the orthopedist says I can transfer into the car again. I drive a Trans Am and it sits 2-3 feet lower than the wheelchair so transferring with a broken leg may be a bad idea. Not to mention the tests are to make sure I didn't screw up the surgery they did- that recovery period had literally just ended; and, that was no birthday party either. 8 incision sites and half of them didn't close all the way.

Hahah posted it on the main provari thread. But I got a warning/infraction for apparently revealing too much info. inotfat happens to be my call sign in the team. Whoops.

So...ummm...did you get the warning/infraction before or after telling us your call sign was your call sign?

Maybe Ocelot can give us some variations on the eye. I tried doing a few others, and wasn't thrilled with the results. I like the new one, but I think the pupil section could be done differently. When I look at the pupil, all I see is a "no" symbol.

The pupil Edd used was from the ProVari logo.

Me too! Dig in' it. If the vent holes are incorporated in the circle, and the Lumen Sees Totus were curved on the bottom like the provarinati is at the top maybe even in the same font, I just might be one happy camper :)

Limited as to what I have to work with, and I don't have the font but this is about as close as I could get

I have several types, I have not looked at them yet, it was just a thought, I did not know about the color change, I think they fire above 1000 degrees F, so I would have to do a test first, one is a ceramic clay based, and the other is a high gloss ceramic glaze, I will try to look at them closer tonight.

Please keep in mind that the collector caps are engraved, not colored, so the designs will look differently than the ones people are experimenting with. And again, the caps are small, so fine details won't show up very well. I'm also still convinced that if we use a triangle it should be equilateral to give to more space for other elements.

The stuff I'm posting is moreless me playing with some really basic programs just to try and let me see a generalization of what I may or may not like. "Just trying to get an idea" this way. I don't have access to any of the CAD or Good Graphic programs here. I noticed that A couple of us were throwing out the same sort of ideas so I went ahead and posted the pics. But all this really is some layering programs and adjusted size "guestimations." I'm guessing that whatever design is decided would have to be reworked in autodesk for the exact specs and machining process.

When I get home tonight I will (probably) have time to sit down and work in some of the suggestions. Keep the curved "Provarinati" logo, redo the triangle so it's equilateral, adjust the background circle so there's room for vent holes, rework the new eye with the ProVari pupil and see if that makes it look any better, and pick a legible font for the lumen sees totus.

We'll put the "Made in the U.S.A. on either the rim of the end cap, or inside around the spring hole. This will separate it from the Provarinati aspects of the design.

How does that sound?

Edit:
I'll do one of each, one with the new eye (revised), and one with the old eye style, but I think we're getting close to having a final design that most of us can agree on.

From what I've seen the split is about 50/50 on donations, so how about we just have the donations go half and half to WWP and CASAA?
