little birdhouse in your soul
I verified it was serenity before I used it. I have a Phiniac also with that symbol on it.

I Googled the Latin and came up with the eye sees all.

Sorry, I just wanted to make sure you knew I didn't mean any offense. I was using the example of the Chinese symbol and saw your post above mine and realized I might have ruffled a feather unintentionally. I meant no disrespect, just using a common example

What would you guys think about dropping the words "Lumen Sees Totus" off the end cap entirely and put something referencing the charity? "I am CASAA" or something similar.
.

Eh

I'd rather have Lumen Sees Totus. I have a thing about getting product from charities. While this isn't exactly the same thing, it would appear to be the same. I don't donate to charities that give out bumper stickers or t-shirts because it takes money away from their real mission. But that's just me.

Nothing against it - but I kind prefer not.
I want to support CASA (I'm doing all the recommended steps regarding the FDA) - but for me, all the appeal of the Cap here IS the ProVarinati, not CASAA...

I second this one also. If promoting casaa is becoming a secondary goal I'm sure there are other things we can do.

New info (GOOD NEWS!):

Can the outer rim of the cap be engraved?

Is there a minimum line width?
I will have to find out what we can do. It might be next week until I hear back.

Is there any leeway on the vent hole(s) placement?
Yes, that can be moved around the design.

Can we get the extension cap engraved?
This one can be done in silver only to match the silver media blasted device.
That would be the only issue with the ext cap. When it gets to colored ext caps it creates some issues because of the way we process those parts.

So that is the downside. Some people don't use the regular cap.

Edit: so how about LUMEN SEES TOTUS on the outer rim and Made in U.S.A. on the bottom?

I've been doing some pondering...

1) I still think the knobs are too busy
2) If we got rid of the circle it would make more space for text
3) The triangle we've been using is uneven. If we make it an equilateral triangle and thin the lines it will also make more space.

If we make the triangle slightly smaller the text can be bigger

Part of me is not convinced that fine details will turn out very well. It might be a good idea to have a simpler design as a back-up. This is just an example. I used this eye in my signature while Edd was working on the second sigil.

No matter which way we go with this type of design, it's going to be problematic. (This is from a photo of a ProVari end cap to make sure the hole was the correct size.)

PoM-PoM said we might be able to move the vent holes. Bobo has 3 holes that are slightly smaller than the one on the ProVari.

Maybe? If the ambigram was longer?

Ponder, ponder, ponder...

What about, maybe just the symbol in its entirety at the bottom. Designed relatively large and in decent amount of detail; and, on the sides we have, "LUMEN SEES TOTUS" and "PROVARINATI?"
Can't make a sketch at home; but, the words along the side where the current "dimples" are.
I'm my head it seams simplistically elegant; just like a provari.

While I might use an elaborately designed Provarinati wrap, I'd rather have a standard sized engraved endcap.

Well not sure if this is where we vote but to recap what I like to vote for;

Cap over Wrap

Wounded Warrior Project get my first vote then the CASAA, or both if we can vote for both that would be better.

The Eye I am good with which ever eye they can make work where the eye pupil is the vent hole.

I vote for the words Provarinati above the eye and LUMEN SEES TOTUS under the eye.

I think the words and the All Seeing Eye are one in the same and should be seen together.

I seen what was said about a Provarinati Tube and that is great but,
I would order caps for my other ProVari's and I would like to have the Eye and the Words on them too. :)

+1 except all the profit to CASAA. I donate to WWP in other ways.

I'd rather the outer rim looked like the rim on the other engraved caps.

I'm afraid you'll be in the minority on this point.

I'm starting to see a consensus here. Most people want the eye, the logo, and "lumen sees totus" somewhere on the endcap. About the only thing we don't all seem to agree on is who should get the donation; but we all agree that it should be either WWP or CASAA, with a significant number of people wanting to split the proceeds between the two.

I'd like to see:
Your simpler eye/triangle, but bigger, and lowered so the hole is the pupil
A SINGLE "Provarinati" above.
Again, just playin.
Lumen phrase may fit, too...

I agree. I just think Lumen Sees Totus should be on the bottom if possible.
