Why Provari?

  • Exceptional voltage regulation - voltage output accuracy within 1% of user set voltage for the full duration of the battery's life. Your last puff will be as good as the first.

  • Exceptional PWM at 800+ Hz which many experience as a "smoother vape" experience, comparable to a dna device. (No rattlesnake effect)

  • Exceptional parts/materials and craftmanship. 99% USA manufactured parts and assembly.

  • Exceptional reliability, dependability, and durability. Survival stories are legendary (see link above for stories).

  • Exceptional customer service/support. 1 year warranty, optional second year warranty at time of purchase. Continued support for life after warranty at minimal cost to the owner.

Mods made in China:

  • Many made with questionable parts/materials and craftmanship quality. Designed cheap to sell them cheap.

  • No customer service/support after the sale by the manufacturer. Broken mods become expensive paper weights.

  • What good are added "bells & whistles" features if the mod only lasts a few months?

  • Most use PWM chips at 33.3 Hz - 64 Hz, resulting in the rattlesnake effect.

While I greatly appreciate the information, I wasn't asking. I can see the value. Seems there 3-5 threads a day about them though.

My appologies, I was attempting to answer the OP's question and also yours in a single response. I should have added that my link includes at least a dozen previous threads concerning "Why Provari?". Perhaps a petition to the mods to sticky my blog might help prevent the daily occurance of these types of threads.

No need to apologize, I was just trying to clarify. I think I'm gonna buy a Provari for the hell of it, lol. I want the straight stainless one.

Was this post necessary? Why the need to poke at his mod? He's obviously very happy with it. To say it will fail and basically fall apart on him, in the way you did, seems mean spirited.

Why is the provari so much money? I got my MVP 2.0 for 80 bucks. What's so special about it? Why are they demanding 180 on the website and how is it so much more special than a 60-125 dollar MVP? Can it do sub-ohm? Even if it could I got my mod for 70 and you can get MVP for 60. That's 130.

    RJmod CATs and MVP 2.0

    $80?

    You got ripped off!

Just don't get double ripped off.

    Wait.. what?

    OOps.

I told that person that I was glad that he was so happy with his Vamo. (Let's see if he is still happy with it six months from now.)

However, was Rickajho being untruthful that the Vamo will fail and fall apart on him? Probably not. This is a $40 mod and it is not exactly built to last - expect to get what you paid for. The Vamo is made by several different manufacturers, can you name one that you've actually heard of before? Historically the top connector is made of cheap soft metal which often stops holding juice attachments; to the point that Vamo owners encourage new owners to get a 510-to-510 adaptor to protect the original threads from wearing out. The black chrome finish is notorious to wear off within a couple of month's use. If the proud owner had done his research on the Vamo he would have found this out on his own.

I'll just rewire my MVP. Electronics aren't that hard. But thanks guys. I can't do 160-180 on it though. I'll take that money and drip like a boss and buy tons of juice.

MVP is fairly close to the same vape. If the vape was that much better on the Provari, owners wouldn't be using other devices- which they often do.

    I also use a ProVape-1...

Heh.. Provari.. it's worth every penny if you like to hear people talk about it. BTW, I still use my Vamo. I went to a local B&M shop that sold the Provari. I had my Vamo and Caravela clone with me. out of all three, the Caravela clone felt the most solid and durable. The Provari's screen looked like it was a Radio Shack frankenvaper... honestly, for aesthetics, I did not like the Provari at all. As far as durability, my Vamo which will be celebrating it's 1 year birthday soon is still going strong... paid $45 for a full kit with batteries. It's vaped liters of ejuice, and I'm vaping from it as we speak.

for those who buy Vamos... Keep in mind, copper vamos will not stand the test of time. Get a SS version.
