It seems like there are two types of vapers in this world.

1. People who own and love the Provari
2. People who don't own one yet try and find flaw in it.

There are many people like myself who have absolutely no interest in owning a Provari. In my case I don't like the weight and look of something that resembles a piece of plumbing.

What tj said!

Also, don't forget you're paying for customer service... I've so far had 2 provaris that had some kind of fault (electronics). The guys at provape provide great service, and even threw in free batteries to cover the return shipping charge (I'm in Belgium)
If your LT or Vmax dies on you, you can pretty much forget about it and throw it in the trash.

Disclaimer: I own a LT as well... But I prefer my provaris, mostly because I find the draw of the LT to be too tight. And it SEEMS (just a feeling) that the same batteries on a LT don't last nearly as long as on a provari.

I was a sceptic too, but it's like pbusardo says in his video where he just got his provari and says "I get it now". Order one and you'll know what he's talking about ;)

There, that was my fanboy rant for the day

I have a magenta LT, a Provari & a variety of other APVs from REOs (bottom feeders ) to egos (Twist = portable VV )...

the difference between the LT & the Provari is night & day - do they both give variable voltage? Yep. But my provari FEELS like a tank, tells me when my ohm to voltage is off, and vapes like a CHAMP no matter what charge is left on my battery.

The LT is nice, it hits well, it does it's job, but it doesn't tell me when I've picked a voltage that's too high for the atty/carto, it doesn't regulate my voltage when my battery starts to die (yes, it's an older version), and it flat out doesn't feel as good in my hands.

I'm sure the Provari does a host of other things that I'm forgetting to mention, but the main thing to remember is that it just keeps going - it feels substantial in your hand, it hits beautifully, and I've never had a misfire. The LT was a nice intro to VV, I keep it ONLY because the magenta is so dang pretty (and I have a matching sedona sunset Bella tank for it lol), but I can feel the difference when I vape.

If you want a cheap intro to VV, go with a Twist - nothing compares to the Provari (so far), but I prefer the Twist to the LT, and they're about 1/3 the cost :)

I’m not a Provari guy. It really holds no interest to me because I won’t get a fat PV that isn’t comfortable to stick in my jeans pocket. A 650mah Twist is the maximum width and length I’m comfortable with.

That said, the name Provari is synonymous with quality and it packs a great set of features like VV and reading the coil resistance of the device attached to it. For somebody looking for the best…I don’t think you can go wrong with a Provari.

A cheep knockoff at 1/6th the price, while attractive may not be worth it. I’d have to see how it performs and how well it holds up before going for that “bargain”. Often you get what you pay for.

As far as I'm aware, Provari has their electronics special built for their particular use. Steel is the same anywhere, apart from most Chinese products that mark "SS" any alloy that has a silver paintjob on it.
Now, I don't think much about "american made" product. I also don't have anything against chinese made stuff. I do own, and use Provari on daily basis though. I won't go into details, because its boring and gets repetitive, but electronics is the reason why I bought it. Sure it looks nice, its well made, its durable (I dropped mine from 2nd floor on the concrete), yaddayadda, but its the electronic inside that sold the device to me.

well.. I didnt get what is this vv with the same specs and the same look with th provari... do you have a link...? and most important... do you know anyone that has already tried it and said...yes! this is just like vaping with my provari...?

I have vaped with lava and vmax and these are nothing like vaping with my provari..not even close.

I am not an American, and I care less about american companies, but the quality of this product is with no comparison. People have it a long time now (i'm close to a year and is still like I just bought it). The china copy how long will last in the user's hands...?will it deliver the expected output that the specs say?if damaged will it be fixed/replaced?

we are not just talking for a price difference here.

From where?

Well, I live in the Philippines, and your shipping prices plus customs would be much higher. This is only the second shipment I've requested from China in the last 24 hours and don't even know if they'll ever make it. I'll let you know if/when I receive it. First shipment was for 10 units of double eGo-T PT 900mAh kits with CE4 clearomizers + a bunch of juices. Second shipment was for the "Provari's" and stuff. IF they come through, I'll shoot a few pics and post here.

You being geographically closer to the Chinese manufacturer might play a factor, but I'd rather pay for a known quantity than risk the inconvenience of even one badly done warranty exchange for a discounted price. I usually shop on value, versus brand name or price. I ordered the Provari and expect it today or tomorrow. I expect that if it does fail, I will get prompt service based on all the reports I've seen. I did not look into it's country of origin. I would be surprised if it's entirely USA.

Anymore, it's very rare to find products manufactured entirely in any country. American made cars may be assembled here, but the component parts come from all over the world. Same with top end clothing. Might be stitched together here, but the fabric probably came off a loom in India or Singapore. One thing about the global market I object to is the theft of intellectual property that is enabled by some countries. When a brand X company rips off the design of the provari, of course they are more competitively priced than the real one - they just copy something without making the R&D investment. Not making that investment also comes with a usual reduction of quality.

Kay, you're gonna kill me.....BUT....earlier today, I ordered 5 Chinese "Provari v2" models with DCT Tanks and 10 extra carto's + a 10 pack of CE4's + 15 bottles of 10ml Dekang juice for $258 delivered. I can't even touch a supposed 'real' Provari v2 here for less than $300. I may be disappointed, but there's always beer........

Sweety, I'm not going to kill you!.......I don't NEED to! Eveyone else is going to do THAT! I'm just the 'Flower girl'...remember?

I still want to know which knock off he means. I have a vtube, never considered it in the same category as a provari. Is that the one?

Or, is there another knockoff the OP knows about that no one here has found?

No....there is a China made Provari knock-off. I don't remember where I found it, but I found it one day. It looks exactly like a Provari, but it's China made. Sounds like the OP might be able to give us a link.....that is IF he's still alive!

Just go to Alibaba dot com and search Provari or Provari V2. There are dozens of false claims but a few in there look exactly like the V2 with identical specs. It's just about 3 a.m. here so I'm gonna catch a few vapes and head to bed. See you all tomorrow.

Yeah RIGHT! You're going to go to bed right when it starts getting good, and people are getting off from work and coming on here! I bet you won't be able to sleep at all, wondering what's going on in here.

I've done that before and never seen one even close. That search will bring up 808 disposables even

Direct link please. I don't see a single knock off with identical looks or specs. There's actual provari listed by some swiss company at 160$/165$ wholesale price.

Adding that I took a look at that site too. Nothing on there even looks close, although I only browsed the first page. Incidentally my real one just came today and a battery just completed charging for a test drive. I have never used anything other than an eGo before. None of the mods available really appealed to me from user reports and vendor sites like this one.

After about 10 minutes of using this one, there is no way I would buy any of those knock offs. Had I seen it in person at a meet or something, I'd have bought one sooner.
