Direct link please. I don't see a single knock off with identical looks or specs. There's actual provari listed by some swiss company at 160$/165$ wholesale price.

that's all i found, too. not that i would order one from that company. i have two provaris, (one a mini) both ordered from provape.com! i'm all about supporting fine american companies!!!

Place of origin...Washington. That's provape. The teardrops mean a mini, correct?

On that link, if you click on vendors website, that company is in Switzerland and has 4 ProVari models listed as being from Washington State and they sell them to the rest of the world on AliBaba.

That doesn't even look like it.

So... the original author of the thread said that there are copies of the provari just as good as the original but with lower price.... but failed to point us to one of these copies...and went to bed...!

Did I get things right?

I dont think this argument is about quality or anything of the sort. It is about supporting the counterfeit trade or not. I choose to not.

I agree. I have a lot of hobbies and this particular scenario comes up in most of them. buy knockoff imitation crap to save a buck or get the real thing.

To me it isn't much of an argument but in most of my hobbies it comes down to people wanting to look like they have the real thing for 1/4 of the price, even when the R&D, engineering, quality and skill isn't put into that product. It's probably the same way girls feel about knockoff purses and the like - fortunately those are only responsible for holding stuff and not supporting your vehicles weight, or having a battery right next to your face, etc.

Bought mine a month ago incredible device. You will get a provar. If you buy one from Provape. Worth every penny. Great device. Be making a mistake if you get something from China. You will not be happy. A provari is like a RollRoyce. The other are like toyota. Get what u bay for. You can get a car with the body of a Rolls. If the engine is a Toyota car will not be a Rolls. Good luck. Hope you make the right choice. Will be cheaper than spending money on something you won't Lu
Like just get the best and your done.

Regardless of how good that product may or may not be (I'd personally side with not as good), some of us will pay more for an American-made product. Of course you don't live in America so you have no understanding of this concept.

Just because they do not live in America does not mean they do not know what the concept of pride in their country is, a little presumptuous and rude there. And also American made does not always equal the best, nor does (Insert Country Here) made equal the best.

Are you serious?

I'd be like me saying I have pride in products made from China because I have a lot of pride in not being Chinese. I'm sure they have great alliance to their country but not necessarily another. In this case just basing my comment on his location was incorrect as he was an American and had also served - but the point is the same.

I could have maybe worded it slightly different but it was not presumptuous or rude in the least.
