My ProVari is awesome. I've had it for about 3 months now and I have not one complaint about it. I have dropped it at least two dozen times and its covered in scratches (but no dents) and it is still working perfectly. It is simple to use, the Ohm readout is very accurate, however the menu is a little tricky to get used to. It's basic, durable, and accurate. I got it with the 18650 extended cap, and yea.. its a light saber. And I didn't mind shelling out some extra cash for something that is going to last me a long time and is made in the USA.

I change my power all the time. I like to try different settings to change the way the juice tastes. Plus when I change a juice out I always fiddle with it to get it right for me. So I like the way my Vamo allows for that to happen by just one or two clicks...just my opinion though. Will most likely get a Provari at some point...

I have a Vamo V2 (newest spring) and a Provari V2.5 ... tried variable watts on the Vamo for a while, changed it back to volts

Vamo well its flimsy in comparison and much taller than my Provari (both have 18650 batteries in them)

Vamo I actually don't like all the buttons, once in a while while casually holding it I will trigger one of the up and down buttons

Provari screen, super bright can be seen easily in bright sunlight, Vamo not so much

Power delivery on both work well, Provari imho is way smoother (like buttah!), the Vamo once you let off power button it sort of spools down, I guess its releasing all stored power (its not a crisp shut off like on the Provari)

I have both, like I said they both work, I am glad I got the Provari first because its really a nice piece of work, just the feel of it is so much better than my Stainless Steel Vamo its really beyond compare ... Stainless Vamo is like a very thin stainless tube, you do get what you pay for is all I can say.

The menus well I actually like the one button menu (I am pretty darn fast at it, so I really see not reason for all the extra buttons on the Vamo), less clutter, I mean how often am I gonna change the setting I need all these buttons in my road

I do use my Vamo more and more rarely, I got it primarily for the price and in case I ran over the Provari with a steam roller and needed to send it back for repairs

The Provari is the Rolls Royce of the vaping world.
It cracks me up when I see people saying stuff like this. :)
Here's something I posted on another thread that seems to be relevant here as well:
You know, when I first got my ProVari, I thought I wanted more buttons and a better screen and menu. After owning it for a while now, I understand why it's set up the way it is. The menu is the simplest, least complex one out there. Everything is set up in order of priority, with the most used features at the beginning of the menu. The screen, again, is the most durable, brightest lit screen they could find. It's not pretty, but it's exactly what is needed and wanted. The button, again, is built to last. There are no other buttons to accidently press and change settings.

A gun only has one trigger.

EDIT: People have a misconception about the ProVari. Some seem to think that it's the Ferrari of the vaping world. In reality, it's the opposite. It's the Hummer of the vaping world, and not the pretty dolled up ones the rich people drive...it's the military ones that our troops drive until they break, then fix them and drive some more. The ones with patched up bullet holes and blood on the tires.

I did the same thing with my eVic. I thought I just had to have vw because of all the hoopla. I stayed on vw for about a week, then changed it back to vv, and it's stayed there, and will continue to stay there.

MY next purchase will definitely be a Provari Blem.

You really need to check out the Tesla. Only complaint is the button placement and I adjusted to that. I've had two vamo's and the only one left that works is in a drawer. Yea it looks strange but the menu is in plain english. No codes just plain words.

Looks strange but really works great and a lot lighter than a vamo. BTW just my :2c:
Provari still beats em all. And I own several of them.

I really like my Provari and it was going to be my only mod (I sold my others to pay for it) but I'm curious about a VW device. Yes I have Ohm's law figured out and have tweaked my RBA but I still want to play around with the sweet spot for various juices more easily. The Tesla caught my attention b/c of the name (I swear my new nephew is named after him), but now I'm kinda thinking after reading the positive reviews and considering the reasonable price, I may bite. Hey, after you've spent $200 on a Provari, $80 is a bargain. I know it won't be the build quality and I think I read it fires at 33Hz vs 800 for the Prov, but I actually like the looks of it, and the OLED menu. The technology is evolving leaps and bounds.

All I have now is a Vision Spinner and I`m looking to get into better mods now. When I see and hold them at my local vape shop i have the same reaction to most of them. Eh, then I had the opportunity to get Provari in m hands...I WANT IT! I do all kinds of maintenance and metal work and I know solid when I see it. Even if i get a cheaper mod I`ll still WANT the Provari. So I figure why waste the money and time on something else. But thats just me.

IKR! The price does throw me a bit, but when you want something you just want it. I`ve got the money just sitting and I just keep going to Provape setting up my cart and backing out. LOL. Its only a matter of time and no willpower before i pull the trigger. I can see it now, Black satin mini with a blue Led and a nice RBA. AAAAARRRGH! (Homer Simpson drool)

I put away all the money I saved from not buying packs and bought my Provari, and RBA and a lot of other accessories (just Mod bling, like a $50 drip tip and $40 case lol). So that's why my banner says I have only saved $475, that's after dropping like $600 in the past few months. But it's an investment, and I have a lot more to show for my money than literally lighting it up in smoke! I made her my prized toy, named her, gave her a motif that has meaning to me and everything.

When you can afford it and won't miss that money, or do what I did and squirrel the $ away towards the goal, then just pull the trigger. I am glad I did. I LOVE my Provari and I would not unclick that "Purchase" button.

I've been comparing the Provari lately to the Altsmoke Silver Bullet. The Provari haters ridicule Provape for not updating the Provari with variable wattage and saying Provari will soon stop being popular because of this, it's falling behind the times and not staying current.

Well, I've noticed more and more threads of people buying Provari's left and right. Experienced and new vapors alike. Even Provape's customer service reps have admitted that business is brisk busier than ever before, requiring the addition of more staff. And yet, you don't hear of a drop off of quality control. Minimally blemished Provari's do exist, and Provape offers them at a discounted price that is hard to resist.

There's really not a more pratical or dependable, always in stock, high-end variable voltage PV available like the Provari. It is a PV for the long haul. No other VV PV offers the security of being able to have the manufacturer service the device for as long as you own it. That's why you get what you pay for.

Back to my anology of the Silver Bullet. It hasn't changed at all since it was introduced some 5 years ago. It has earned a reputation in the vaping community. It is as popular today as it ever has been. Chad at Altsmoke has to work his behind off to keep them in stock.

Both the Silver Bullet and the Provari are like old soldiers than never die, they just keep on working. There will ALWAYS be a demand for dependable, durable, and reliable PV's that are supported by their manufacturer for as long as you own them.
