I have a Vamo V2 (newest spring) and a Provari V2.5 ... tried variable watts on the Vamo for a while, changed it back to volts
Vamo well its flimsy in comparison and much taller than my Provari (both have 18650
batteries in them)
Vamo I actually don't like all the buttons, once in a while while casually holding it I will trigger one of the up and down buttons
Provari screen, super bright can be seen easily in bright sunlight, Vamo not so much
Power delivery on both work well, Provari imho is way smoother (like buttah!), the Vamo once you let off power button it sort of spools down, I guess its releasing all stored power (its not a crisp shut off like on the Provari)
I have both, like I said they both work, I am glad I got the Provari first because its really a nice piece of work, just the feel of it is so much better than my Stainless Steel Vamo its really beyond compare ... Stainless Vamo is like a very thin stainless tube, you do get what you pay for is all I can say.
The menus well I actually like the one button menu (I am pretty darn fast at it, so I really see not reason for all the extra buttons on the Vamo), less clutter, I mean how often am I gonna change the setting I need all these buttons in my road
I do use my Vamo more and more rarely, I got it primarily for the price and in case I ran over the Provari with a steam roller and needed to send it back for repairs
