I would imagine that some of that $70 goes toward the more durable triple coated finish. You could look at it this way, ... If a person wants it (and can afford to), they will buy it. If
a person does not want to spend the money, they will come up with every excuse in the book to deter it......

Good point. Can't you just see that so clearly in most of the Provari bashing posts? I myownself did the same thing at first. And then I suddenly just had an epiphany one day. Hey, why not just go for it? Just do it, and see what happens. We'll, what happened is I love my Provaris. Yes, that's right, two.

And, the one I like the most, is the one I ordered the most impulsively. The Zombie. I just really like how it has some color. Not necessarily the Zombie thing, just that it "pops". Man how I hate when my wife says that, and now I'm doing it! But it's true. I was very conservative with my first one. Got bronze. It's very nice, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with the looks. But now it just seems so drab and boring looking.

Man I wish I could order one of these things. It'd be totally worth it. 'Cause it so "pops" in a reverse, negative way! lol. It does really look awesome in the pictures. Alas, if you knew how much I've spent on vaping in the last three months, you'd definitely give me a free pass right now.

BTW, is there an option to just get the button partially blacked out? Don't you want to see when it starts blinking?

best regards, larry mac

Hi Larry.
I am really enjoying the Stealth mini. It really is a fine looking device in person. If you get a chance definitely look into getting one. The button is totally blacked out and adds to the stealth appearance, which I prefer when I'm vape'n at night in a darker setting and want to remain low key. That was one of the features that drew me to this device. No option for partial.

Me personally, I usually check the battery level through the toggle anyway. I can agree with you on the vape spending. This truly can become an expensive hobby! I also have a Royal blue ProV mini for my playful mods and it "pops" lol Pass issued my friend!

Considering their target audience, I completely understand them using an opaque fire button.

You'd be shocked at just how far even the faintest light source can be seen in pitch black conditions.

That flashing red light on a ProVari when the battery gets low could be seen for miles through a periscope, a god pair of binoculars, or worse, the scope of an enemy sniper rifle.

Cops and first responders don't have to be too concerned I wouldn't think, but I can promise that Marines and Army personnel on the front lines can definitely appreciate that the button is blacked out.

They probably could have gotten away with a really dark tinted transparent button, but not a clear one like it ships with stock.

The LED screen light is also 50% darker than the standard models. Not a problem, you can read it fine...except the other night I was looking at it, and then grabbed one with a red LED. I was temporarily blinded.
