Provari. Too Good To Be True?

Really? You think so? Hrm... I figured it out in just under a minute. The only thing I noticed is it fires when checking the battery life. I just hit it while it's checking. ;-)

EDIT: One thing I will add, you'd have to search the ends of the earth to find one Provari owner who didn't regret their purchase.

When I noticed the firing on battery check I actually contacted Provape. They got back to me within minutes saying that the reason it fires when checking the battery was that it checks the battery under load, whereas devices like the Vamo check the battery without it being under load. Being under load can make a difference and actually gives a more accurate check on how much life is left in a battery.

I really couldn't say if mine failed when it was new. I bought mine used. Scuffed and scratched, the only time it hasn't fired when I pressed the button is when the battery was dead.

I do however, have a complaint about ProVape's customer service. What kind of piece of crap company expects their employees to answer emails on the weekend or holidays? I hope they get paid for doing it. The longest I've had to wait for an email response was 3 hours, on a Saturday, in the evening.

I've had my Provari for a few months and I'm very happy with it. The menu system is a non-issue. It took about 3 minutes to get used to it.

It's built like a tank. If it breaks, I'll send it back to Provape and they'll fix it - no big deal. My lavatube is acting flaky. WHEN (not if) it breaks, I'll throw it away. That is the difference between the Provari and anything that comes out of China.

I had to send one of my provari's in for repair they have great customer service and I had it back with in the week I also sent both my V1s in for the v2 upgrade again it was a quick turn around

I broke mine.......twice. They repaired it...... Twice. Charged me? Nope
Fan of Provari and Provape? Yes.
So much that I bought a second one and that was delivered the same day I sent my first one out for repair for the second time. It works flawlessly now.

My LED on the switch burned out. Still works fine and I am not that worried about it to send it back.

Any chance you accidentally turned the fire button light off? (The last option in the six option menu)

I don't think I've ever heard anything bad about it other than people complaining it doesn't do VW. That's like complaining your car won't fly...it's not suppose to.

So as for the things it is suppose to do does anyone have any complaints. I'm especially looking to see if anyone has had one fail in a short period of time as seems to be the problem with so much of the stuff coming out of China.

Yes, perhaps with goods coming from China. I totally agree. That's why I purchased a provari and am ordering a second one.

To me having a Provari has capped my spending on the power side of the equation. Even if something better comes along I don't think I really need it. The Provari exceeds all of my needs except for when bicycle riding.

I think I can have everything I want with Provavri's in two sizes and an SD keyring.

mine is a version 1(never sent it in for upgrade) and is more than 2 years old...it has been put through the ringer and still works like the day i bought it.... it fell out of my pocket once while mowing the lawn and was ran over and hurled probably a hundred yards.....has been dropped thousands of times. you can not kill these things, they are built like tanks, and if you do they fix it for realtively cheap.

You can throw a Provari onto a marble floor as hard as you want. It still won't tell you watts up.

I only fiddle with the voltage once or twice, and that's when I swap carto tanks or one of my RBA's onto it. Once to check the Atty Ohms, and the other time to either lower or raise the voltage to my desired vape, which at this point in time I pretty much get spot on 90 something % of the time. For me, the one button menu system is a plus because there isn't a hole lot of exrta buttons in the way that I don't even use most of the time.

My VAMO doesn't seem to forget my power settings when I swap out the battery. I tend to only use it for VW though, can't really speak to any voltage setting wipes.
