wow... that's cool... the extension ring on the small end cap part... no magnets for me either.
I have a P18500 that fits and functions great (have IMR 18490 too)... i like having the shorter version around too.

Love my Provari, found a Pila 300P battery, put the extension cap ring on the regular end-cap and voila, made good use of an otherwise useless battery ;-)

Right now I have both Vari's with Depth Charge tanks (one is pyrex tube) using a Boge 2.3 and a Fusion 2.2... after a yr and half of rejecting carto's I'm liking them in tanks and the Vari is the PV for tanks imo.
I drip with my dial adjust PV's for the time being but the Vari's are still the center pieces of my arsenal.

i got too many things going at once to tell... a bit more than the IMR 18490.
i got 18650 IMR's and Pro Powers and 16340's, and P14500's going every day...
the good thing is the the Provari at least has a low batt indicator which helps me whereas the other 2 VV PV's I'm using don't and sometimes i'll run them down to far.

What kind of milage are you getting with the P18500?

I had some trouble with BOge carto in tanks; too much juice get in there and the vape is miserable... I'm sticking with Fusion cartos for now. i didn't care for dual coil carto tanks much either, the Fusions are smooth and reliable... so far.

I am stoked with this XL sized Pyrex 510/901 d/t from theecigs.com... big bowl at bottom makes a huge difference for dripping even over the "tapered" reg. pyrex d/t's.

Provari just stopped working in the entire 3v-3.9v range,,,, does anyone have an address to send the units back to Provape by any chance. I cant find a phone # on there website only a form to fill out. Dave if you see this can you please PM me

Has anyone had this happen before where there Provari has stopped working only in the 3v-3.9v range and working in all other voltages ? Looking for some feedback from Provape, Dave ? Ken ? or anyone else that may have had this happen with there Provari.

I've just purchased a slightly used Provari on the classies. Have no idea what possessed to me to buy it today (I was settled on saving for a few weeks and buying new) but for some reason HAD to have this Provari.

Here's the thing - it was sold to me by a very respected and super nice member of ECF who maintains that it's 3 weeks old or so and that it doesn't have any ProVari engraving. She sent me a copy of the receipt to show her purchase and the pictures look legit - if it were a knockoff (which I don't believe it is) it's almost perfect.

So, I took the plunge. Any thoughts on why one wouldn't have the ProVari on the body? Am I looney for buying it? Anything that I can look for to authenticate that it's a ProVari?

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

There really aren't any ProVari knockoffs out there or mods that look exactly the same as the ProVari. The logo could have been removed if the unit was polished... Which color is it?

Not only that, but about 3-4 weeks ago, maybe a little more, there was a batch that got shipped out, that they forgot to put the Logo on.

Hey, thanks so much!! The dates jive perfectly with the thread about missing logo. So glad - was starting to think that I was nutty for buying w/o the logo on it. It's the black chrome color

Now I'm even more excited!! Oh, I purchased from another member not mixologist. Can't wait for my Provari!!
