ProVari Variable Voltage Mod

This device has worked flawlessly since owning it, but after 2 wks of using the chrome Provari, some of the chrome has peeled off above the O on the logo. I understand chrome is a plating but 2 weeks of use? Maybe the laser etching cuts into the chrome making it to susceptible to peeling. From what I understand when chroming steel it has to be nickel plated first so the chrome can adhere better. I emailed David about it. Maybe he has some tubes w/o the logo. The finish would be just as nice as the chrome with just a polished stainless steel finish without the chance of the chrome peeling off. It must be under warranty because the only Provari that has a disclaimer about the finish is the gold plated version.

Any suggestions for a set up for my ProVari for autofeeding? I've got a DC MAP and a Liquinator purchased on the classies and have used them on my other PV but I'm not crazy about them- every once in a while they dribble into the catch cup and I don't wanna mess up the ProVari. I'm also hoping for advice on which cartos work best - I am using 3.0 dc but it is going through juice too quickly.

Tanks!

I have tank with a 1 1/8" pyrex tube... which fits the Fusion carto quite perfect... these imo are the best carto anywhere.
I have some Boge's which are good but i had some issues with overflooding the cartos and leaking too; i stick to the Fusions anyway...

I couldn't get the hang of the Vapemate myself; but ymmv.
Just got lucky with the tank.
