what i like about this Provari: long list:

lately i have a 2.2 Joye reg. 510... (IA posted that it has the largest range of applications for voltage settings). The neat thing about this atty is that when i need a big vape i boost it to about 4.0 to 4.2. ... and when i want it mellow but full it will work anywhere from 3.3 to 3.8. no sweat.

per a previous post, i have nothing against other vv's that use that little black dial. but for me, i like to know, really know, what voltage i am dialing... kind of like "if i didn't see it, i wouldn't believe it" kind of thing.

I'm digging my VV Provari Mod, only thing I wished they came out with for it is a top style juice feeder Mod that screws into the native 510 fitting, especially since the tank market is wide open for Modders to make as of now, no one has them locked up with patents or any of that nonsense so just a clear Map Tank type Provari juice tank would be sweet, or whatever else they may have in mind for it, I asked David a ways back and I believe he said he would take that into consideration, as far as I'm concerned it would put this PV over the top.!

just a follow up: the Pila charger works fine for the 18490 IMR aw's.... seems loose but the connection is there.

i'd like to know if any are using the reg 18650 batts and what atty / voltage they like with that batt.

I'm running the 18650 Batts Uke and with a standard Joy Atty and a drip tip, it's pretty good, I also am running the 2 ohm Mini 801 on it and that's my favorite Atty of em all.!!! In fact that 2ohm Mini 801 at 4.2 is the Bomb, I load that Atty up to the bottom of the Bridge and at 4.2 rip away on that bad bot until it needs filling again, two or three of those sessions and I'm god for 20 min, hahah

What do you mean by 'reg'? Lithium Ion?
I'm on the AW IMR 18650 from ProVape right now using an 801 (for the moment, I change-up a lot) @4.6v
I have not used a Lithium Ion 18650. The UltraFire Li 14500 is a few hairs too long to fully thread the end cap on....but usable.

If the ProVape guys weren't so slammed with the ProVari release, I would have contacted them with the design I'm working on. Don't worry, I don't plan on patenting it, ha-ha! I talked to the vendor I'm working with and he's slammed for the next few weeks on another product release so it looks like it will be a while before anyone sees one. I was hoping it would be a quick slam-dunk but who knows now. IF it ever gets out of the starting blocks, it'll be a sweet addition to a ProVari!

I'm using regular Li-ion 18650 with mine (panasonic 2900 mah). They are flat top so I added a drop of solder to the positive terminal (warning: not recommended as you can damage the bat). The bat is lasting through 6 ml of juice without sweating. I'm guessing it would die between 7-8ml but I never get that far :)

I have also tested the Tenergy 2600 (continuous discharge of 3.9 amps) and again, no issues at all. I run 1.3-15 ohms at 3.6 to 3.8v.

You *do* realize that many of us are hanging on your every word, right? I mean, there are a select few people whose opinion carries this much value (to me) -- ESPECIALLY with this particular device given your history. I'm still waiting on Lucky to see if she can blow it up *somehow*... if not, I'm in! LOL

Happy New year, bud.

I had some connection issues with the 18490's on the pila too- I ended up bending the contacts on the negative side out a bit- all is good-

Not sure what you're asking about what atty/voltage with the battery- I'm on a 2.0 IKV 306 this week running at 3.6 and 3.7V- using the 18650's... getting about 2 days per charge...

Morn Provari Forum
Has anyone found a nice leather case for the Provari to fit into. im looking for something real nice for a beautiful PV. something soft leather and fits kinda snug so it doesnt fall out. i keep looking but no luck yet. If anyone finds something just post it. Thanks

Cos

Highly subjective-
Std ego case works with standard configuration- with the 18650 you need to remove the atty.

If you want a holster, there are hundreds of flashlight holsters to choose from that will work nicely- check out surefire's site-
your diameter is 23mm.
